Announcement on Compensations to SQUAWK Holders on MEXC

Dear users,

Due to the abnormalities in the on-chain transfers of SQUAWK, which leads to unusual price fluctuations, MEXC suspended SQUAWK trading in time. To ensure users’ rights and interests, MEXC will make compensations to SQUAWK holders with the following arrangement:

For users who hold SQUAWK tokens before 21:29:09 on April 21 (UTC), the project team will take snapshots of users’ holdings and distribute SQUAWK V2 tokens at a 1:1 ratio based on their snapshotted token amount. Please note that users must have SQUAWK balances at 21:29:09 on April 21 (UTC). Otherwise, they will not receive any airdrops.
For users with a net purchase of no less than 0 SQUAWK between 21:29:09 and 22:41:53 on April 21 (UTC), MEXC will use the ”MEXC Investor Protection Fund“ to refund all USDT tokens to them. Meanwhile, their SQUAWK tokens purchased during this period will be deducted.
MEXC will make no compensations for users who sold SQUAWK at 21:29:09 on April 21 (UTC).

Please note:

The compensation for eligible users will be completed on April 29.
Following this, the withdrawals for SQUAWK V1 and V2 will be enabled. Users can withdraw SQUAWK V2 tokens to other platforms to trade.
Besides, the online transfers of SQUAWK will charge 4% fees, which means only 96% of the total amount will be credited to your account.
