Risk Alert from MEXC: Beware of Scams Impersonating User Offboarding Notices
MEXC has recently identified fraudulent activity in which criminals impersonate official MEXC Customer Service by sending SMS messages claiming that users are being offboarded. These messages direct users to log in to fraudulent websites or apps and submit personal information for so-called "fund verification." The actual intent is to steal account credentials and induce users to withdraw assets, resulting in financial loss.
Note: MEXC will never ask for your account password, SMS verification code, Google Authenticator code, or any other sensitive information.
To protect yourself from scams, please follow these guidelines:
1) Verify official channels: Always confirm that you are visiting the official MEXC website. If you encounter a suspicious link, use our official verification channel to check its authenticity.
2) Never share sensitive information. Do not disclose your account credentials, passwords, verification codes, or any other personal information to any website or individual claiming to be an official representative of MEXC.
3) Be cautious of unsolicited contact. Be alert to anyone who contacts you proactively and claims to be from MEXC. If someone presents themselves as Customer Service, verify their identity through the official verification channel, or contact MEXC directly via the official website or in-app Customer Service.
