A Trump Truth Store based on Truth Social in Crystal Lake, Illinois, closed after sales plummeted amid the unpopular Iran war, as reported by The Chicago Tribune.
Owner Lisa Fleischmann announced the closure on Facebook March 26, writing, "I am not even making ½ of my rent."

Fleischmann told the Chicago Tribune that sales dropped sharply after U.S. and Israeli military strikes began February 28, with customers hesitant to purchase pro-Trump merchandise during the conflict.
She explained, "Sales were really slow. It all started with the war. It was dead as a door nail the minute that happened."
Fleischmann suggested customers feared wearing President Donald Trump apparel would invite unwanted questions.
An AP-NORC poll released March 25 found 59 percent of Americans believe military action in Iran has gone too far, reflecting broader public disapproval of the conflict.
