Event Terms Leave Room for Changes

Disclosures on the event website state that Trump “may not be able to attend” the conference. They also allow organizers to reschedule or cancel the event at their discretion.

Qualified participants could receive a “limited edition TRUMP NFT” instead of attending the gathering. Yet the same website still promotes a “VIP Reception & Champagne Toast” with Trump.

The FAQ also describes the program as an “all-day event” starting at 8:30 a.m. That language conflicts with the attendance caveat in the terms and conditions.

Still, event organizers told The Block that Trump plans to appear. A spokesperson for Get Trump Memes said, “Of course, the President will be attending both events.”

The spokesperson said Trump would travel to Washington after the Mar-a-Lago event. The statement described the schedule as a conference followed by dinner.

Trump had already signaled interest in the dinner before the gala announcement. On March 2, he wrote on Truth Social that he had accepted the invitation.

He also wrote that he “looked forward to being with everyone” at the event. That post appeared more than a week before the memecoin gala was announced.

TRUMP Gala Targets Top Token Holders

The gala invitation is tied to a leaderboard that ranks time-weighted TRUMP holdings. The qualification period runs through April 10, according to the event materials.

Organizers promise access to Trump for top-ranked holders at the gathering. The top 29 holders are also offered a reception and a champagne toast.

The website mentions other “superstar guests,” though it does not name them. The gala mirrors a similar event held last May at Trump’s Virginia golf course.

That earlier event drew criticism from lawmakers and watchdog groups. Protesters also gathered outside the venue while attendees waited for Trump’s appearance.

Attendee accounts said Trump stayed for about 20 minutes at that event. The brief visit has raised new questions about his planned appearance on April 25.

The Official TRUMP coin now trades near $3, close to its pre-announcement level. After the March 12 gala announcement, the token rose from about $2.70 to $4.40.

It later slipped back toward $3 as the qualification window neared its end. The White House Correspondents’ Association did not comment on the schedule.
