Highlights include Pierre-Auguste Renoir’s Dance at Bougival, John Singleton Copley’s Watson and the Shark, and John Singer Sargent’s The Daughters of Edward Darley Boit. The museum’s Ancient Egyptian collection features monumental works such as the Statue of Menkaura and Queen Lady Sennuwy and reconstructed tomb chapels from Giza. Visitors can also explore extensive Japanese holdings, including ukiyo-e prints, Buddhist sculpture and decorative arts.
