Angry Trump denounces media outlets over coverage of Iran war

President Donald Trump accused news media outlets of misrepresenting the Iran war on Truth Social, claiming he is "winning a War, BY A LOT" even though coverage suggests otherwise.

Trump criticized major publications like the New York Times, Wall Street Journal, and Washington Post, calling them "fake news."

He claimed Iran's military capabilities have been severely degraded and exalted the alleged destruction of their navy and air force, while stating his U.S. blockade is costing Iran $500 million daily.

The president described media coverage as anti-American, saying it rooted for Iran's victory.

Trump has previously made false statements about the conflict, including claiming Iran agreed to surrender uranium stockpiles.

Reports indicate the Strait of Hormuz remains obstructed, Iran and the United States remain far apart in negotiations, and U.S. war objectives remain unclear.

Trump asserted the blockade will remain until a deal is reached.
