MANILA, Philippines – Former president Rodrigo Duterte will go on trial at the International Criminal Court after its Pre-Trial Chamber confirmed all three charges against him in a decision issued on Thursday, April 23.
The all-women chamber said it found substantial grounds to believe Duterte is criminally responsible for alleged killings linked to his war on drugs and the so-called Davao Death Squad.
