Famous comedian Aziz Ansari delivered a sharp critique of Kash Patel during his appearance on "Saturday Night Live" this weekend, playing the controversial Trump nominee in a sketch that used humor to highlight concerns about his qualifications.
In the skit, Ansari's version of Patel opened with a provocative statement about breaking stereotypes.

After saying, "You guys should not be reporting the lies and the gossip. You should be reporting on the historic nature of my appointment," the comedian delivered a painful blow:
"I'm a trailblazer. I'm the first Indian person to suck at their job," the character declared. "Everyone says Indian people are smart, hardworking, incredibly intelligent. I prove without a shadow of a doubt that we can be just as incapable and incompetent as the whites."
The controversial performance quickly gained attention on social media. Spencer Althouse, editorial director of BuzzFeed, shared the video with commentary on the sketch's intensity. "Aziz Ansari just appeared as Kash Patel on SNL, and they went innnnn on him," Althouse wrote on Saturday night.
The skit represents the entertainment industry's continued scrutiny of Patel, who has faced bipartisan criticism over his nomination to lead the FBI amid questions about his experience and previous controversial statements, as well as a report about his purported drinking problem.
