The Federal Government of Nigeria, through the 3 Million Technical Talent (3MTT) programme, is set to empower over 20,000 3MTT fellows by providing them with access to global recruiters and employers through a strategic partnership with Hello. CV.
This was revealed in a statement by the Federal Government on Thursday, as part of a $10M+ activation to connect Nigerian tech talent with recruiters and employers across the world.
Hello.CV is Africa’s premier tech profiling platform and an AI-powered career platform that helps you create a professional, customisable online profile at your own .cv domain.
According to an FG statement, the partnership will provide over 20,000 3MTT fellows with exclusive access to a Hello.cv profile package valued at $500 per fellow. It comprises a personal Hello. CV domain, an AI-powered job-search agent, and a professional CV writer.
The statement added that the top 10 fellows with the most compelling profiles will be recognised nationally and awarded 12 months of Hello.CV Premium access, a recruiter spotlight, and a one-on-one career review.
“The 3MTT programme has produced thousands of skilled, world-class Nigerian tech talents. This partnership with Hello.cv ensures that their skills are not just developed, but also seen, valued, and rewarded globally. Today, we are connecting Nigeria’s talent to the world,” Bosun Tijani, Minister of Communications, Innovation & Digital Economy, said.
He added that the partnership marks a significant step in the Federal Government’s broader agenda to position Nigeria as a leading tech talent nation in Africa.

Hello.CV is moving from a general free-access model to a more targeted access system, with the 3MTT partnership becoming one of the key ways Nigerians can use the platform at no cost. This highlights the importance of the 3MTT talent pipeline in connecting skilled Nigerians to global opportunities.
Beyond training, the partnership is designed to help Nigerian tech talents build visibility, strengthen their professional profiles, and attract employers worldwide.
Speaking on the partnership, Ope Awoyemi, Chief Evangelist/Cofounder at Helo.CV said, “This partnership is about more than profiles or platforms – it is about giving an entire generation of talent a global identity.”

She noted that for too long, incredible developers and builders have remained invisible beyond their local ecosystems. With this initiative, we are ensuring that Nigerian talent is not just skilled but discoverable, competitive, and positioned to win on the global stage.
The activation will also be anchored by a Global Profile Week sprint, during which fellows will be guided through setting up their Hello.cv profiles and positioning themselves for discovery by global employers.
To be a part of this, Nigerians have to be a part of the 3 Million Technical Talent (3MTT) programme, with further details from the Federal Government.
