Aligned with its commitment to support gastronomy tourism under its Love the Flavors campaign, Mang Inasal, the Philippines’ grill expert, brought Filipino flavor to the forefront of a major international event when it joined the ASEAN-Korea Music Festival “2026 ROUND in the Philippines” on April 18 to 19, 2026, at the Araneta Coliseum.

As the Philippines hosted this year’s festival in its role as ASEAN Chair, the event further strengthened ties across the region through shared creative expression. Filipino artists Ben & Ben, Cup of Joe, HORI7ON, TJ Monterde, KAIA, 1st ONE, and VIVID performed in this year’s ROUND Festival, which is now on its sixth run.

Participating in the 2026 ROUND Festival was an opportunity for Mang Inasal not only to serve its best-selling dishes, but also to showcase Filipino hospitality on a global stage—creating meaningful fan moments and reinforcing its role as a proudly homegrown brand connecting people through food and joy.

In bringing Filipino flavors to an international stage, Mang Inasal’s participation also reflected the spirit of the “Love the Philippines” campaign—where culture is not merely presented, but lived and shared through authentic Filipino experiences. By creating moments of connection through food, hospitality, and joy, the brand helped transform the festival into a space where both locals and visitors could genuinely experience what it means to love the Philippines—through its people, its energy, and its distinct sense of community.

Mang Inasal was the only Filipino quick-service restaurant present at the event.

Mang Inasal’s booth at the Quantum Skyview in Gateway Mall 2 became a go-to destination for local and international fans looking to refuel and recharge. The brand served its well-loved chicken and rice, offering a satisfying and familiar favorite amid the high-energy performances. Attendees were also treated to free samples of its Extra Creamy Halo-Halo, giving festival-goers a refreshing taste of a classic Filipino dessert.

Mang Inasal also elevated the fan experience through interactive booth games that reflected the brand’s commitment to creating Unli-Saya experiences for its customers

The ASEAN-Korea Music Festival is a key platform for fostering cultural exchange and collaboration between ASEAN countries and Korea through music. Previous editions of ROUND were held in Jakarta, Vientiane, and Kuala Lumpur.
