Meet the new Senate committee chairpersons after leadership shake-up

MANILA, Philippines – The Senate coup on Monday, May 11, that installed Alan Peter Cayetano as Senate president and ousted Tito Sotto triggered a revamp of committee leaderships in the chamber.

A week later, on Monday, May 18, Cayetano’s allies have so far secured key committee chairmanships, although several posts remain vacant.
