The Chosen Adventures, an animated biblical series for children based on the faith-based hit series The Chosen, begins streaming on Friday.
The official summary for the series reads, “The Chosen Adventures follows 9-year-old Abby (voice of Romy Fay) and her best friend, Joshua (Jude Zarzaur), as they navigate life in the ancient city of Capernaum.
“When the children encounter a wise craftsman and teacher, Jesus of Nazareth (Jonathan Roumie), he helps them change the way they see the world, and they help spread his influence far and wide (among the 7 to 12-year-old set). And did we mention that she has a talking sheep?”
The Chosen Adventures also stars the voices of Paul Walter Hauser as Sheep, Yvonne Orji as Pigeon, Danny Nucci as Abba and Zehra Fazal as Eema.
The series also features several recurring and guest voice cast members, including Jordin Sparks as Fish, Paras Patel as Matthew, Elizabeth Tabish as Mary, Noah James as Andrew, Joey Vahedi as Thomas, George H. Xanthis as John, Yasmine Al-Bustami as Ramah, Brandon Potter as Quintus, Banks Pierce as Hilarius Maximus and Julian Grant as Cyrius Maximus.
All 14 11-minute episodes of The Chosen Adventures are now available to stream on Prime Video in the U.S., as well as Prime Video internationally in the U.K., Latin America, Canada, Australia, New Zealand and Sub-Saharan Africa.
The Chosen Adventures is a co-production of Amazon MGM Studios and The Chosen creator Dallas Jenkins’ 5&2 Studios.
Viewers can watch The Chosen Adventures with a Prime Video subscription, which is included in an Amazon Prime subscription that costs $14.99 per month or $139 per year. Amazon also offers Prime Video-only subscriptions for $8.99 per month.
