The superstar debuts three tunes on the tally, and all of them become quick bestsellers. Amazingly, he fills the highest three spaces in a clean sweep — one which demonstrates that there is clear demand for new music from the talent.

“Days Like These” Leads Luke Combs’ Digital Sweep

Leading the charge is “Days Like These,” which opens at No. 1, instantly becoming another leader for Combs on the Country Digital Song Sales chart. Following closely behind are “My Kinda Saturday Night” and “15 Minutes,” which launch at Nos. 2 and 3, respectively.

“Days Like These” earns Combs his eleventh career champion on the Country Digital Song Sales list. Three of his No. 1 hits — “Fast Car,” “Forever After All,” and “Beautiful Crazy” — are tied as his longest-running leaders, as each spent seven weeks at the summit.

“The Kind of Love We Make” managed three turns in charge, while “Backup Plan” with Bailey Zimmerman, “Tomorrow Me,” “Six Feet Apart,” “One Too Many” with Brooks & Dunn, “Even Though I’m Leaving,” “Beer Never Broke My Heart” and now “Days Like These” all commanded the tally for just one frame apiece.

“My Kinda Saturday Night” Extends Luke Combs’ Near-Miss Record

“My Kinda Saturday Night” joins Combs’ long list of near-misses on the Country Digital Song Sales chart. 11 tunes credited to the singer and songwriter have peaked at No. 2, just barely failing to become leaders. That roundup includes some of his most well-known favorites, like “Ain’t No Love in Oklahoma,” “Where the Wild Things Are,” and “Growin’ Up and Gettin’ Old.”

All three of Combs’ tracks also debut on the Digital Song Sales chart, which is not specific to any one style. “Days Like These” starts at No. 4, “My Kinda Saturday Night” launches at No. 5, and “15 Minutes” opens in eighth place. Luminate reports that in their first tracking frames, “Days Like These” sold 2,800 copies, “My Kinda Saturday Night” sold almost 2,700, and “15 Minutes” started with just over 2,100 pure purchases.

Two of his new cuts also make themselves known on the Hot Country Songs chart, which blends sales, streaming, and radio airplay to determine the most-consumed country tracks in the nation. “Days Like These” starts at No. 25, while “My Kinda Saturday Night” opens at No. 46. “15 Minutes” misses the consumption-based ranking.

“Back in the Saddle” Rides to a New High for Luke Combs

In addition to his new arrivals, Combs claims several additional hits on the Hot Country Songs chart this week. “Back in the Saddle,” which appears to front an upcoming full-length from Combs, gallops to a new high of No. 7, up one spot from last time around. Meanwhile, “Backup Plan” with Zimmerman dips to No. 24, while “Ordinary (Live from Lollapalooza),” a collaboration with Alex Warren, holds at No. 45.

Luke Combs’ EP The Prequel – Two of Them

Combs’ three new tracks were released as an EP titled The Prequel. The country musician previously delivered a short project of the same name back in the summer of 2019. That effort featured hits like “Beer Never Broke My Heart” and “Even Though I’m Leaving.” The earlier of the two Prequel EPs reached No. 1 on the Top Country Albums chart and even brought Combs into the top five on the Billboard 200 – a relatively uncommon occurrence for EPs.
