TLDR

  • eToro rolls out AUD accounts to cut FX fees and boost Aussie trading power.
  • Over 200 ASX stocks now live on eToro, expanding local investment options.
  • Automate investing with eToro’s new recurring purchase feature in Australia.
  • Spaceship integration and instant bank transfers make investing seamless.
  • Direct crypto deposits and AUD interest perks redefine Aussie flexibility.

eToro has introduced Australian dollar (AUD) accounts to strengthen its local presence and expand services for Australian users. The platform now allows users to deposit, hold, and invest directly in AUD, bypassing conversion to USD. This upgrade gives users greater control over their currency exposure while reducing transaction costs.

Users can fund AUD trades directly, especially when buying ASX-listed assets, without incurring conversion charges. eToro has also introduced interest on AUD balances to match the existing interest rates on USD holdings. The AUD account rollout will proceed in phases, prioritizing existing users before opening to new ones.

This move aligns with eToro’s ongoing strategy to localize offerings in key markets. By eliminating mandatory currency conversions, users gain a streamlined trading process and reduced fees. The update ensures a more flexible and cost-effective experience for those active in local equities.

Over 200 ASX Stocks Added to Platform

eToro has added over 200 Australian Securities Exchange (ASX) stocks. This expansion allows users to access a broader range of domestic companies and diversify their portfolios. The inclusion of more local equities helps users focus on regional opportunities.

These stocks are now available through direct AUD funding, removing the need for foreign exchange charges. This complements the platform’s efforts to deliver competitive pricing and a localised user experience. The wider selection supports different strategies and promotes broader market access.

By boosting the number of ASX stocks, eToro strengthens its offering for users seeking to invest in Australia’s capital markets. The integration supports both short-term and long-term approaches. eToro aims to become a central platform for building diversified portfolios across global and local assets.

Recurring Investments Feature Introduced

eToro has introduced a recurring investment tool in Australia, enabling automatic purchases at regular intervals. Users can now automate buying of stocks, ETFs, and cryptocurrencies to support consistent investing strategies. This feature is designed to improve long-term financial planning.

Initial limits start at USD 25 per transaction with a maximum of USD 25,000 monthly. The tool is not available for CFDs, CopyTrading, or SmartPortfolios. Users can use this feature to remove the manual burden of repetitive buying.

The recurring investment tool adds efficiency and supports disciplined wealth-building methods. It helps users follow structured approaches while removing emotional decision-making. eToro designed this feature to support wider adoption of automated trading functions in the region.

Spaceship Integration and Instant Bank Transfers

eToro will integrate Spaceship into its main application. Users will access their Spaceship portfolios directly within eToro, creating a unified investment view. This move enhances convenience and portfolio management.

eToro plans to launch Open Banking-powered instant bank transfers. This function will let users fund accounts without leaving the app interface. It is expected to improve transaction speed and increase overall engagement on the platform.

These integrations support eToro’s effort to offer a more seamless and modern financial experience in Australia. By combining functionality and accessibility, the platform strengthens its position. The updates are a direct outcome of its local expansion strategy.

eToro now supports direct crypto deposits in Australia for Bitcoin (BTC), Ethereum (ETH), USDC, and XRP. Users can convert these assets into AUD, reinvest them, or withdraw as needed. This feature simplifies crypto trading and adds to user flexibility. The platform also offers interest on USD balances, up to 4.05% depending on the user’s membership tier. AUD interest benefits will soon follow, further encouraging cash holdings.

A Netflix ‘KPop Demon Hunters’ Short Film Has Been Rated For Release

The post A Netflix ‘KPop Demon Hunters’ Short Film Has Been Rated For Release appeared on BitcoinEthereumNews.com. KPop Demon Hunters Netflix Everyone has wondered what may be the next step for KPop Demon Hunters as an IP, given its record-breaking success on Netflix. Now, the answer may be something exactly no one predicted. According to a new filing with the MPA, something called Debut: A KPop Demon Hunters Story has been rated PG by the ratings body. It’s listed alongside some other films, and this is obviously something that has not been publicly announced. A short film could be well, very short, a few minutes, and likely no more than ten. Even that might be pushing it. Using say, Pixar shorts as a reference, most are between 4 and 8 minutes. The original movie is an hour and 36 minutes. The “Debut” in the title indicates some sort of flashback, perhaps to when HUNTR/X first arrived on the scene before they blew up. Previously, director Maggie Kang has commented about how there were more backstory components that were supposed to be in the film that were cut, but hinted those could be explored in a sequel. But perhaps some may be put into a short here. I very much doubt those scenes were fully produced and simply cut, but perhaps they were finished up for this short film here. When would Debut: KPop Demon Hunters theoretically arrive? I’m not sure the other films on the list are much help. Dead of Winter is out in less than two weeks. Mother Mary does not have a release date. Ne Zha 2 came out earlier this year. I’ve only seen news stories saying The Perfect Gamble was supposed to come out in Q1 2025, but I’ve seen no evidence that it actually has. KPop Demon Hunters Netflix It could be sooner rather than later as Netflix looks to capitalize…
