In 2024, vinyl album sales increased for the 18th consecutive year, according to the Recording Industry Association of America. As music fans increasingly seek out nostalgic tunes, music artists face a growing opportunity to celebrate their anniversary years, from classic reunion tours to innovative launches that spark new revenue streams.

Texas-born American rock band Bowling for Soup is setting an example with the new single, “Holding On To That Hate.” Embracing vibes of positive growth, the pop punk power trio’s new hit is the first original release since the group’s 2022 acclaimed album Pop Druk Snot Bread.

Bowling For Soup artists also marked their biggest tour ever this year with today’s release of a new live album, A Hangover You Definitely Deserve (Brando/Que-So Record). The new compilation celebrates the band’s 20th anniversary of their studio album, A Hangover You Don’t Deserve.

The anniversary tour filled arenas in the U.K., and also some of the biggest U.S. venues that the band has played at in years. Live video highlights include “A-Hole” (featuring John James Ryan of Keep Flying on Saxophone) and “Ridiculous” (featuring Matthew Milligan from Wheatus on Keyboard).

Bowling For Soup is stage hopping this year from a huge U.S. tour with Simple Plan, 3OH!3 and LØLØ, to an acclaimed appearance at Four Chord Festival, then a U.S. festival at Aftershock, followed by a short headline run with The Dollyrots and Don’t Panic leading into Warped Tour Orlando. The biggest headline show of the artists’ careers will be a Dec. 13 performance at London’s OVO Arena Wembley and sponsored by Wheatus and Punk Rock Factory.

Apart from the music, Bowling for Soup is dedicated to promoting mental health awareness on the punk rock scene.

“We’ve literally saved lives, and that feels better to me than any of the other successes I’ve had,” says Jaret Reddick, lead vocalist, guitarist and primary songwriter of Bowling for Soup.

Supporting nonprofit Punk Rock Saves Lives catalyst for wellness and equality, the artists have helped 8397 individuals test to join the bone marrow registry, resulting in 64 matches.

Artist Chris DeMakes of Less Than Jake says, “Musicians, such as Jaret Reddick from Bowling For Soup, have been extremely open regarding their struggles with mental health. Along with Punk Rock Saves, they are letting you know that you are never alone.”

Punk Rock Saves Lives has swabbed 30,161 people since 2022. In addition, 450 hours of therapy were assigned to individuals in need during 2025.

The post A Netflix ‘KPop Demon Hunters’ Short Film Has Been Rated For Release appeared on BitcoinEthereumNews.com. KPop Demon Hunters Netflix Everyone has wondered what may be the next step for KPop Demon Hunters as an IP, given its record-breaking success on Netflix. Now, the answer may be something exactly no one predicted. According to a new filing with the MPA, something called Debut: A KPop Demon Hunters Story has been rated PG by the ratings body. It’s listed alongside some other films, and this is obviously something that has not been publicly announced. A short film could be well, very short, a few minutes, and likely no more than ten. Even that might be pushing it. Using say, Pixar shorts as a reference, most are between 4 and 8 minutes. The original movie is an hour and 36 minutes. The “Debut” in the title indicates some sort of flashback, perhaps to when HUNTR/X first arrived on the scene before they blew up. Previously, director Maggie Kang has commented about how there were more backstory components that were supposed to be in the film that were cut, but hinted those could be explored in a sequel. But perhaps some may be put into a short here. I very much doubt those scenes were fully produced and simply cut, but perhaps they were finished up for this short film here. When would Debut: KPop Demon Hunters theoretically arrive? I’m not sure the other films on the list are much help. Dead of Winter is out in less than two weeks. Mother Mary does not have a release date. Ne Zha 2 came out earlier this year. I’ve only seen news stories saying The Perfect Gamble was supposed to come out in Q1 2025, but I’ve seen no evidence that it actually has. KPop Demon Hunters Netflix It could be sooner rather than later as Netflix looks to capitalize…
