Back in April, Green Bay Packers head coach Matt LaFleur was extremely outspoken about having the controversial “Tush Push” banned from the NFL. “When you look at the play I don’t think it’s really a football play,” LaFleur said at the NFL owners’ meetings. “It’s more of a rugby play. And some of the injury concerns, we wanted to get out in front of that and be more proactive.” Of course, the “Tush Push” — made famous by the Philadelphia Eagles — survived, falling two votes short of the 24 votes needed to ban it. Now, with the Eagles set to visit the Packers on Monday, LaFleur would rather stay out of the fire. “Guys, I’m not going to get into it,” LaFleur said Thursday. “It is what it is. You know, the NFL made a decision, and we have to find a way to try to stop the play, and it’s a tough play to stop.” Heading into the season, the Eagles had a 96.6% success rate on “Tush Push” plays. Green Bay and former team president Mark Murphy led a charge to have the play removed from the game citing, among other things, player safety. After that the play survived for at least 2025, the Packers-Eagles contest — which was already a marquee matchup — became extra juicy. “I think the best way to stop it is to not to allow it to happen,” LaFleur said. “In regards to, you can’t allow them in those short yardage situations, because you know exactly what they’re going to do, and they’ve been pretty successful at it obviously.” Source: https://www.forbes.com/sites/robreischel/2025/11/06/packers-coach-matt-lafleur-wants-to-stay-out-of-the-tush-push-fire/The post Packers Coach Matt LaFleur Wants To Stay Out Of The ‘Tush Push’ Fire appeared on BitcoinEthereumNews.com. UK crypto holders brace for FCA’s expanded regulatory reach

The post UK crypto holders brace for FCA’s expanded regulatory reach appeared on BitcoinEthereumNews.com. British crypto holders may soon face a very different landscape as the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) moves to expand its regulatory reach in the industry. A new consultation paper outlines how the watchdog intends to apply its rulebook to crypto firms, shaping everything from asset safeguarding to trading platform operation. Why does this matter for crypto holders? The UK regulatory framework shift would provide safer custody of assets, better disclosure of risks, and clearer recourse if something goes wrong. However, the regulator was also frank in its submission, arguing that no rulebook can eliminate the volatility or inherent risks of holding digital assets. Instead, the focus is on ensuring that when consumers choose to invest, they do…
