Constellation narrowed its full-year 2025 adjusted operating earnings guidance. The new range sits at $9.05 to $9.45 per share.

CFO Dan Eggers pointed to strong nuclear and commercial performance. The company continues to execute well both operationally and financially.

Nuclear Fleet Delivers Strong Output

The nuclear fleet produced 46,477 gigawatt-hours in Q3 2025. This compares to 45,510 gigawatt-hours in the third quarter of 2024.

The nuclear plants achieved a 96.8% capacity factor for the quarter. This improved from 95.0% during the same period last year.

Planned refueling outage days totaled 23 in Q3 2025. The company had 37 planned refueling outage days in Q3 2024.

Non-refueling outage days dropped to five in the third quarter. This compares to 20 non-refueling outage days in the prior year period.

The improved performance reflects better operational efficiency. Fewer outage days allowed for higher production levels.

Conowingo Dam Settlement Reached

Constellation reached a settlement agreement with the Maryland Department of the Environment in September 2025. The agreement also included Lower Susquehanna Riverkeeper Association and Waterkeepers Chesapeake.

The Maryland Department of the Environment issued a water quality certification. This clears the path for re-licensing and continued operation of the Conowingo hydroelectric facility.

The settlement terms include operational improvements. The company committed to water quality and resiliency enhancements.

Additional commitments cover trash and debris removal. The agreement also addresses aquatic life passage and freshwater mussel restoration.

Dredging and invasive species management round out the settlement terms. These measures resolve all outstanding issues related to the water quality certification.

The natural gas and pumped storage fleet posted a 95.5% dispatch match rate in Q3 2025. This compared to 98.2% in the third quarter of 2024.

Renewable energy capture for wind, solar and run-of-river hydro reached 96.8%. This improved from 96.0% in the prior year quarter.

The company is preparing for the close of its Calpine transaction. Management expressed excitement about combining the capabilities of both companies.

BlackRock boosts AI and US equity exposure in $185 billion models

The post BlackRock boosts AI and US equity exposure in $185 billion models appeared on BitcoinEthereumNews.com. BlackRock is steering $185 billion worth of model portfolios deeper into US stocks and artificial intelligence. The decision came this week as the asset manager adjusted its entire model suite, increasing its equity allocation and dumping exposure to international developed markets. The firm now sits 2% overweight on stocks, after money moved between several of its biggest exchange-traded funds. This wasn’t a slow shuffle. Billions flowed across multiple ETFs on Tuesday as BlackRock executed the realignment. The iShares S&P 100 ETF (OEF) alone brought in $3.4 billion, the largest single-day haul in its history. The iShares Core S&P 500 ETF (IVV) collected $2.3 billion, while the iShares US Equity Factor Rotation Active ETF (DYNF) added nearly $2 billion. The rebalancing triggered swift inflows and outflows that realigned investor exposure on the back of performance data and macroeconomic outlooks. BlackRock raises equities on strong US earnings The model updates come as BlackRock backs the rally in American stocks, fueled by strong earnings and optimism around rate cuts. In an investment letter obtained by Bloomberg, the firm said US companies have delivered 11% earnings growth since the third quarter of 2024. Meanwhile, earnings across other developed markets barely touched 2%. That gap helped push the decision to drop international holdings in favor of American ones. Michael Gates, lead portfolio manager for BlackRock’s Target Allocation ETF model portfolio suite, said the US market is the only one showing consistency in sales growth, profit delivery, and revisions in analyst forecasts. “The US equity market continues to stand alone in terms of earnings delivery, sales growth and sustainable trends in analyst estimates and revisions,” Michael wrote. He added that non-US developed markets lagged far behind, especially when it came to sales. This week’s changes reflect that position. The move was made ahead of the Federal…

China Blocks Nvidia’s RTX Pro 6000D as Local Chips Rise

China Blocks Nvidia’s RTX Pro 6000D as Local Chips Rise

The post China Blocks Nvidia’s RTX Pro 6000D as Local Chips Rise appeared on BitcoinEthereumNews.com. China Blocks Nvidia’s RTX Pro 6000D as Local Chips Rise China’s internet regulator has ordered the country’s biggest technology firms, including Alibaba and ByteDance, to stop purchasing Nvidia’s RTX Pro 6000D GPUs. According to the Financial Times, the move shuts down the last major channel for mass supplies of American chips to the Chinese market. Why Beijing Halted Nvidia Purchases Chinese companies had planned to buy tens of thousands of RTX Pro 6000D accelerators and had already begun testing them in servers. But regulators intervened, halting the purchases and signaling stricter controls than earlier measures placed on Nvidia’s H20 chip. Image: Nvidia An audit compared Huawei and Cambricon processors, along with chips developed by Alibaba and Baidu, against Nvidia’s export-approved products. Regulators concluded that Chinese chips had reached performance levels comparable to the restricted U.S. models. This assessment pushed authorities to advise firms to rely more heavily on domestic processors, further tightening Nvidia’s already limited position in China. China’s Drive Toward Tech Independence The decision highlights Beijing’s focus on import substitution — developing self-sufficient chip production to reduce reliance on U.S. supplies. “The signal is now clear: all attention is focused on building a domestic ecosystem,” said a representative of a leading Chinese tech company. Nvidia had unveiled the RTX Pro 6000D in July 2025 during CEO Jensen Huang’s visit to Beijing, in an attempt to keep a foothold in China after Washington restricted exports of its most advanced chips. But momentum is shifting. Industry sources told the Financial Times that Chinese manufacturers plan to triple AI chip production next year to meet growing demand. They believe “domestic supply will now be sufficient without Nvidia.” What It Means for the Future With Huawei, Cambricon, Alibaba, and Baidu stepping up, China is positioning itself for long-term technological independence. Nvidia, meanwhile, faces…
