Cody “Beef” Franke broke into tears following the win. After the final hole, the broadcast highlighted his play and participation. Beef would pass away in late October 2025. He was a relatively new but beloved member of Barstool Sports’ Fore Play golf team. “I think I’d pay off my parents’ house,” Beef said when asked what he would do with the money. The final match went to the 18th hole after Borelli pulled his 3-wood off the tee into tall grass while Dalke sent a massive drive down the center of the fairway. More than 150 yards separated their second shots. On his approach to the green, Borelli hit his shot thin, producing a low bullet that skipped over the putting surface and rolled into the pond behind the green. That mistake led to his team conceding the hole. “The fact that Frankie was even able to bring the club back—I’m proud of him, because I would have just absolutely… my bones would have left my body and I’d be a puddle on the tee box,” said Trent Ryan, Borelli’s co-host.
