Most albums are lucky to reach the charts, and even some of the most popular and respected of the bunch do not hold on for very long. Legends like Frank Sinatra are in a league of their own, and a number of his most beloved releases can still occasionally find their way to the Billboard tallies decades – and even more than a half century – after they were originally shared with the public.

Sinatra’s In the Wee Small Hours, which is regarded as one of his true masterpieces, returns to several Billboard charts this week and even manages to debut on two rosters thanks to a recent reissue, which clearly appealed to die-hard followers of the late crooner.

In the Wee Small Hours appears on four Billboard charts in America at the moment. The set bounds back onto two jazz-focused rankings, hitting new highs as it reappears. The project also makes space for the first time on a pair of sales tallies, upping Sinatra’s career totals once again, many years after his passing.

In the Wee Small Hours Finally Reaches the Top 10

Sinatra scores a new top 10 win on both the Traditional Jazz Albums and Jazz Albums charts this week. In the Wee Small Hours reappears at No. 9 on the traditional-leaning tally and No. 10 on the most important jazz ranking for full-lengths and EPs. This period marks the first time that In the Wee Small Hours has pushed into the uppermost register on either roster.

How Many Top 10 Albums Has Frank Sinatra Charted?

Sinatra has now racked up 39 top 10 successes on the Jazz Albums chart, as In the Wee Small Hours joins that large collection of projects. He is even more successful on the Traditional Jazz Albums list, where the singer is up to 43 top 10s.

In the Wee Small Hours Needed Decades to Crack the Top 10

In the Wee Small Hours finally hits the top 10 on the Jazz Albums chart more than half a decade after it debuted, and 15 weeks into its time on the tally. The same effort did not reach the Traditional Jazz Albums ranking until a year after it launched on the Jazz Albums roster, and the Sinatra recording has now spent just three turns somewhere on the shortened list.

Frank Sinatra Charts a New Bestseller on Several Billboard Charts

In a classic pose, Frank Sinatra smokes a cigarette as he plays piano in the movie Young at Heart. One of the movie’s songs became a trademark “saloon song” for Sinatra: “Make It One for My Baby (And One More for the Road),” by Harold Arlen and Johnny Mercer.

As In the Wee Small Hours returns to two jazz-centered rankings, it also debuts on another pair of tallies. In the Wee Small Hours opens at No. 13 on the Vinyl Albums chart and No. 30 on the Top Album Sales list. Luminate reports that in the most recent tracking frame, which is reflected on the current Billboard rosters, the Sinatra classic sold a little more than 3,500 copies, up from under 50 the period prior.

Frank Sinatra’s Legacy on Billboard’s Vinyl Chart

Shockingly, despite the fact that Sinatra became a household name when vinyl records were a must-own — and even before then — he has only racked up five placements on Billboard’s Vinyl Albums chart. In the Wee Small Hours lands right in the middle, standing out as his third-highest-rising hit, taking that honor from A Jolly Christmas from Frank Sinatra.

Frank Sinatra’s Bestselling Albums

The crooner has turned out to be far more successful on the non-format-specific Top Album Sales chart, Billboard’s list of the bestselling collections of any length or style throughout the U.S. Sinatra is up to 34 placements on that ranking, and he adds at least one new win almost every year thanks to various compilations and reissues.

Frank Sinatra Claims Five Charting Albums in the U.S. This Week

Five different albums by Sinatra appear on the Billboard charts this week – a huge number for an artist who passed on decades ago. As In the Wee Small Hours both returns and debuts, it joins Ultimate Christmas, Ultimate Sinatra, Christmas Songs by Sinatra, and Nothing but the Best. He largely appears on jazz and holiday rosters, but Ultimate Christmas manages to bound up both the Billboard 200 and Top Album Sales ranking as well.

NGP Token Crashes 88% After $2M Oracle Hack

The post NGP Token Crashes 88% After $2M Oracle Hack appeared on BitcoinEthereumNews.com. Key Notes The attacker stole ~$2 million worth of ETH from the New Gold Protocol on Sept.18. The exploit involved a flash loan that successfully manipulated the price oracle enabling the attacker to bypass security checks in the smart contract. The NGP token is down 88% as the attacker obfuscates their funds through Tornado Cash. New Gold Protocol, a DeFi staking project, lost around 443.8 Ethereum ETH $4 599 24h volatility: 2.2% Market cap: $555.19 B Vol. 24h: $42.83 B , valued at $2 million, in an exploit on Sept 18. The attack caused the project’s native NGP token to crash by 88%, wiping out most of its market value in less than an hour. The incident was flagged by multiple blockchain security firms, including PeckShield and Blockaid. Both firms confirmed the amount stolen and tracked the movement of the funds. Blockaid’s analysis identified the specific vulnerability that the attacker used. 🚨 Community Alert: Blockaid’s exploit detection system identified multiple malicious transactions targeting the NGP token on BSC. The protocol’s smart contract had a critical flaw; it determined the NGP token’s price by looking at the asset reserves in a single Uniswap liquidity pool. This method is insecure because a single pool’s price can be easily manipulated. The attacker used a flash loan to borrow a large amount of assets. A flash loan consists of a series of transactions that borrow and return a loan within the same transaction. They used these assets to temporarily skew the reserves in the liquidity pool, tricking the protocol into thinking the…
