Myriad’s Game-Changing Move: Prediction Market Support Now Live in Trust Wallet

Imagine placing a bet on tomorrow’s weather, a sports outcome, or even a political event directly from the app where you store your cryptocurrency. That future is now here. In a significant move for decentralized finance, the prediction market platform Myriad has launched a seamless integration with the popular Trust Wallet app. This collaboration, first reported by Decrypt, brings speculative forecasting into the daily crypto experience for millions of users.

What Does This Prediction Market Integration Actually Do?

This feature eliminates the need to switch between multiple applications. Users of the Trust Wallet app can now access Myriad’s prediction market directly within the wallet interface. Think of it as adding a powerful new tab alongside your token balances and swap functions. The goal is to make participating in decentralized forecasting as simple as checking your portfolio.

This integration tackles a common user experience hurdle in Web3. Typically, interacting with a prediction market dApp requires connecting your wallet, navigating to a separate website, and approving transactions across platforms. Myriad and Trust Wallet have streamlined this into a single, cohesive flow inside a trusted environment.

Why Is This a Big Deal for Crypto Users?

This partnership signals a shift towards more integrated and utility-focused crypto wallets. It’s not just about storage anymore; it’s about providing access to a suite of financial tools. For the everyday user, the benefits are clear:

  • Unmatched Convenience: Forecast and trade on real-world events without leaving your primary wallet.
  • Enhanced Security: Interactions happen within the secure framework of Trust Wallet, reducing phishing risks from unknown sites.
  • Mainstream Gateway: It introduces the concept of a prediction market to a vast, established user base in a familiar setting.

How Do Prediction Markets Work, and Why Should You Care?

If you’re new to the concept, a decentralized prediction market lets people trade shares based on the outcome of future events. Prices reflect the crowd’s collective probability of an event happening. For example, a share trading at $0.70 for “Team A to win the championship” suggests a 70% perceived chance.

Beyond speculation, these markets are powerful information aggregation tools. They can provide uncensored forecasts on everything from election results to project launch dates, often outperforming traditional polls or experts. Myriad’s integration makes tapping into this “wisdom of the crowd” remarkably straightforward.

What Challenges Lie Ahead for Wallets as Super Apps?

While this integration is a leap forward, it introduces new considerations. Wallets becoming all-in-one hubs must maintain:

  • Performance: Adding complex features shouldn’t slow down the core wallet functions.
  • Regulatory Clarity: Prediction market platforms operate in a nuanced legal space globally.
  • User Education: New users need clear guides to understand the risks and mechanics of forecasting.

However, the potential is immense. This move could set a precedent, encouraging other wallets to integrate niche DeFi applications, from insurance to derivatives, creating a more robust and accessible financial ecosystem.

Conclusion: A Seamless Step Towards a DeFi Future

The Myriad and Trust Wallet collaboration is more than a simple feature update. It’s a practical step towards dissolving the barriers between different segments of decentralized finance. By embedding a fully-functional prediction market into a mainstream wallet, they are normalizing advanced DeFi participation. This integration doesn’t just make forecasting accessible; it weaves it into the fabric of everyday crypto management, paving the way for wallets to become the primary portals to the entire Web3 world.

The post A Netflix ‘KPop Demon Hunters’ Short Film Has Been Rated For Release appeared on BitcoinEthereumNews.com. KPop Demon Hunters Netflix Everyone has wondered what may be the next step for KPop Demon Hunters as an IP, given its record-breaking success on Netflix. Now, the answer may be something exactly no one predicted. According to a new filing with the MPA, something called Debut: A KPop Demon Hunters Story has been rated PG by the ratings body. It’s listed alongside some other films, and this is obviously something that has not been publicly announced. A short film could be well, very short, a few minutes, and likely no more than ten. Even that might be pushing it. Using say, Pixar shorts as a reference, most are between 4 and 8 minutes. The original movie is an hour and 36 minutes. The “Debut” in the title indicates some sort of flashback, perhaps to when HUNTR/X first arrived on the scene before they blew up. Previously, director Maggie Kang has commented about how there were more backstory components that were supposed to be in the film that were cut, but hinted those could be explored in a sequel. But perhaps some may be put into a short here. I very much doubt those scenes were fully produced and simply cut, but perhaps they were finished up for this short film here. When would Debut: KPop Demon Hunters theoretically arrive? I’m not sure the other films on the list are much help. Dead of Winter is out in less than two weeks. Mother Mary does not have a release date. Ne Zha 2 came out earlier this year. I’ve only seen news stories saying The Perfect Gamble was supposed to come out in Q1 2025, but I’ve seen no evidence that it actually has. (Photo by Brandon Sloter/Image Of Sport/Getty Images) Getty Images St. Louis Cardinals lifer Adam Wainwright is a pretty easygoing guy, and not unlikely to talk with you about baseball traditions and barbecue, or even share a joke. That personality came out last week during our Zoom call when I mentioned for the first time that I’m a Chicago Cubs fan. He responded to the mention of my fandom, “So far, I don’t think this interview is going very well.” Yet, Wainwright will return to Busch Stadium on September 19 on a more serious note, this time to honor another former Cardinal and friend, the late Darryl Kile. Wainwright will take the mound not as a starting pitcher, but to throw out the game’s ceremonial first pitch. Joining him on the mound will be Kile’s daughter, Sierra, as the two help launch a new program called Playing with Heart. “Darryl’s passing was a reminder that heart disease doesn’t discriminate, even against elite athletes in peak physical shape,” Wainwright said. “This program is about helping people recognize the risks, take action, and hopefully save lives.” Wainwright, who played for the St. Louis Cardinals as a starting pitcher from 2005 to 2023, aims to merge the essence of baseball tradition with a crucial message about heart health. Kile, a beloved pitcher for the Cardinals, tragically passed away in 2002 at the age of 33 as a result of early-onset heart disease. His sudden death shook the baseball world and left a lasting impact on teammates, fans, and especially his family. Now, more than two decades later, Sierra Kile is stepping forward with Wainwright to…
