Trust Wallet has rolled out its new predictions feature inside the app, giving users a way to take positions on real-world events without jumping between platforms. This feature covers sporting events, political results, and even crypto issues that frequently attract community attention.
Furthermore, the prediction mechanism integrated with the wallet makes the process noticeably faster because everything is done from a single location.
The initial launch of Predictions was driven by Myriad, which was the first partner to provide prediction markets natively within the app. This integration transforms Trust Wallet from a simple storage wallet to a place where users can open YES or NO positions on a variety of events.
Furthermore, the planned collaborations with Polymarket and Kalshi are bringing a new dimension to the market, as both are well-known names among users involved in prediction markets. They are simply waiting to step in and expand the variety of events that can be traded through Trust Wallet.
This feature remains on-chain, so all token positions remain under the user’s control. This approach is quite popular because many people feel more comfortable not having their assets leave their daily wallet. Furthermore, centralized access in one place simplifies the process, especially for users unfamiliar with other prediction platforms.
Beyond the Predictions feature, other developments demonstrate Trust Wallet’s continued expansion of its capabilities. At the end of November, we reported that Trust Wallet had added Apple Pay support for crypto purchases in over 45 countries. Many users appreciate this method because Face ID and Touch ID provide an added sense of security, especially since payments can be completed without entering a card number.
Last September, we also reported on the integration of Aster DEX, which opens access to perpetual trading with up to 100x leverage. Aster DEX adds a variety of tools for users looking to leverage the derivatives market, particularly as its multi-chain support and hidden orders option make the trading process more flexible.
