Uquid announced TON Blockchain as one of the key chains during Web3 Shopping Day. The program underlines the fact that TON can facilitate real-world and online payments of crypto over millions of products. Uquid reiterated that TON conforms to the mission and vision of the platform to enable global consumers to make digital purchases in a seamless, quick and convenient manner.

The Open Network, or TON, is a protocol that allows making Web3 payments within popular applications, like Telegram. This solution allows individuals to send funds and do shopping with crypto as easily as sending a message. The promotion introduces the use of Web3 transactions into the mainstream usage, with a unique discount on purchase made using USDT on TON.

Fast And Scalable Payments Across 178 Million Products

Uquid offers a huge shopping environment which has over 178 million products and is backed by 50+ payment options and 100+ tokens. TON currently constitutes a component of such infrastructure. It includes mobile-native usage, which is significant at a time when the majority of Web3 shoppers search, browse, and check out via their smartphones.

TON payments are reputed to be quick, cheap and dependable. These features will contribute to digital lifestyles, such as mobile top-ups, gaming codes, subscriptions, and physical goods delivered all over the world. Uquid also clarified that shoppers should be able to pay directly and instantly through TON on its websites and within the Telegram shopping environment.

It leads to the creation of a Web-friendly checkout process. Customers are able to make purchases without friction and do not need to deal with slowness and high charges that are often inherent to more traditional methods of payment. Scalability and efficiency of transactions make TON appropriate to be used by masses.

Web3 Shopping Day Discount: 10% Off With USDT on TON

Uquid introduced a special time-related discount voucher as a part of Web3 Shopping Day. The code applied in the voucher is TONW3SD. It provides a 10% discount capped at $1 and is only applied to purchases using USDT in TON. The offer will be valid between November 24 and December 7, 2025, and will apply to both Uquid Digital Shop and Uquid Physical Shop.

Uquid mentioned that this voucher can only be used once by each user hence it is appropriate in using it in one checkout session. The discount is very extensive and includes digital goods and physical delivery products, enabling shoppers to experience TON payment.

Driving Mass Adoption of Web3 Commerce

Both TON and Uquid feel that shopping is a key entry point to the next phase of blockchain adoption. TON works with common messaging apps and enables users to get crypto payments without having to leave the apps they already use.

The promotion of Uquid comes when the demand of Web3 still escalates. The number of users who are trying out decentralized transactions to make their daily purchases is increasing, and checking out with USDT via TON is a viable option to other more traditional methods.

Uquid tries to show that Web3 can enhance online shopping by providing a discount voucher and highlighting its daily use. The alliance indicates a shift to quick and easy blockchain payments, which bring the technology to the mainstream treatment.

A mix of 178 million product offerings, familiar shopping experience, and immediate crypto transactions is what makes TON an attractive competitor in the changing Web3 retail environment.

Fed Makes First Rate Cut of the Year, Lowers Rates by 25 Bps

The post Fed Makes First Rate Cut of the Year, Lowers Rates by 25 Bps appeared on BitcoinEthereumNews.com. The Federal Reserve has made its first Fed rate cut this year following today’s FOMC meeting, lowering interest rates by 25 basis points (bps). This comes in line with expectations, while the crypto market awaits Fed Chair Jerome Powell’s speech for guidance on the committee’s stance moving forward. FOMC Makes First Fed Rate Cut This Year With 25 Bps Cut In a press release, the committee announced that it has decided to lower the target range for the federal funds rate by 25 bps from between 4.25% and 4.5% to 4% and 4.25%. This comes in line with expectations as market participants were pricing in a 25 bps cut, as against a 50 bps cut. This marks the first Fed rate cut this year, with the last cut before this coming last year in December. Notably, the Fed also made the first cut last year in September, although it was a 50 bps cut back then. All Fed officials voted in favor of a 25 bps cut except Stephen Miran, who dissented in favor of a 50 bps cut. This rate cut decision comes amid concerns that the labor market may be softening, with recent U.S. jobs data pointing to a weak labor market. The committee noted in the release that job gains have slowed, and that the unemployment rate has edged up but remains low. They added that inflation has moved up and remains somewhat elevated. Fed Chair Jerome Powell had also already signaled at the Jackson Hole Conference that they were likely to lower interest rates with the downside risk in the labor market rising. The committee reiterated this in the release that downside risks to employment have risen. Before the Fed rate cut decision, experts weighed in on whether the FOMC should make a 25 bps cut or…
