Elon Musk and El Salvador Launch First Nationwide AI Tutoring Program

2025/12/12 06:29

In Brief

  • El Salvador partners with Elon Musk’s xAI for global AI education breakthrough.
  • Over 1 million students to benefit from personalized AI tutoring nationwide.
  • Grok AI model will support 5,000 schools and thousands of teachers.

El Salvador has officially launched the world’s first nationwide AI-powered tutoring program in collaboration with xAI. The initiative will roll out xAI’s Grok model across more than 5,000 public schools, benefiting over 1 million students.

This landmark two-year program aims to provide personalized, curriculum-aligned tutoring for every student, adjusting lessons to their individual learning pace and needs.

The program seeks to bridge educational gaps, offering tailored learning experiences that were previously unavailable in traditional classroom settings.

Partnership with Elon Musk and President Bukele to Drive Education Innovation

The partnership between xAI, led by Elon Musk, and the government of El Salvador marks a significant leap in the country’s education system.

The deployment of Grok will allow students across urban and rural areas to experience high-quality, AI-driven education.

President Nayib Bukele praised the program, stating, “El Salvador doesn’t just wait for the future to happen; we build it.” He emphasized that this initiative was a crucial part of the country’s broader strategy to leapfrog into the future through innovative technology.

Elon Musk, founder of xAI, echoed Bukele’s sentiment, adding that the program would place “the most advanced AI directly in the hands of an entire generation.”

The program will not only enhance students’ learning but also support thousands of teachers by providing them with an AI-powered assistant to improve classroom engagement and effectiveness.

The use of Grok will help develop new methodologies for integrating AI into classrooms, ensuring that the technology is used responsibly and safely in educational settings worldwide.

Through this pioneering project, El Salvador aims to lead the way in education reform, positioning itself as a global model for AI adoption in public education.

As both El Salvador and xAI work together, the initiative has the potential to inspire similar programs in other countries, reshaping the future of education on a global scale.

Aave V4 roadmap signals end of multichain sprawl

The post Aave V4 roadmap signals end of multichain sprawl appeared on BitcoinEthereumNews.com. Aave Labs has released its official launch roadmap for V4, laying out the final steps ahead of the major upgrade’s Q4 mainnet launch.  Alongside new architectural and security improvements, the roadmap introduces a fundamental shift in how user balances are tracked and highlights a strategic pullback from economically underperforming deployments across layer-2 and alternative layer-1 networks. The V4 release moves away from aTokens’ rebasing-style mechanics toward ERC-4626-style share accounting, a change that promises cleaner integrations, easier tax treatment, and better compatibility with downstream DeFi infrastructure.  In a recent technical development update, Aave Labs confirmed that “tokenization is to remain optional and built using ERC 4626 vaults,” and that internal accounting will eliminate the use of exchange rates or scaled balances. The goal is to “further improve the overall reliability of the protocol.” ERC-4626 is a widely adopted Ethereum standard that expresses user deposits as shares of a vault rather than balances that grow over time. In Aave V3, aTokens accrue interest by increasing a user’s balance directly — behavior that resembles rebasing tokens and often confuses integrations and portfolio accounting tools.  By contrast, ERC-4626 tracks yield through a rising price-per-share metric, leaving token balances unchanged. The result is more predictable behavior for integrators, auditors and tax software, as well as a clearer cost basis for users. The roadmap also outlines a series of release milestones, including a formal codebase publication, a public testnet launch with a redesigned interface, and the completion of a multi-layered security review involving formal verification and manual audits. Aave Labs said the roadmap reflects the protocol’s “final stages of review, testing, and deployment,” and that additional documentation and launch preparation materials will be released in the coming weeks. But the most pointed strategic shift comes not from the codebase, but from Aave’s own governance forums. “Aave…
