PANews reported on December 17th that, according to Bloomberg, Binance co-founder Changpeng Zhao (CZ), despite holding no official position, has regained influence after receiving a pardon from President Trump, supporting his crypto stance and stating his desire to "make America the crypto hub." Binance is considering relaunching its website Binance.US, including reducing Zhao's shareholding to alleviate compliance hurdles; it is also in talks with US giants like BlackRock to deepen financial cooperation. Zhao previously pleaded guilty to anti-money laundering charges, but it remains unclear whether the pardon will lift the restrictions placed on him.
