Akii Launches AI Search Tracker: Measure Your Brand Visibility in AI Responses

AI chatbots are changing how customers discover products and services. People are no longer just searching and clicking links. They are asking questions and trusting AI-generated answers to guide decisions.

Traditional SEO tools cannot see these conversations. They track rankings and keywords, not whether your brand appears or is recommended inside AI responses. Akii is closing that blind spot with the launch of AI Search Tracker.

AI Search Tracker shows how often your brand appears in AI-generated answers across Google AI Search, ChatGPT Search, Perplexity, and Microsoft Copilot.

The Shift to AI Visibility

AI assistants are now part of the decision-making process. They summarize options, compare providers, and recommend specific brands directly in their answers.

If you rely only on keyword rankings, you miss this layer entirely. A brand can rank highly in traditional search and still be invisible when someone asks ChatGPT or Google AI for recommendations.

According to Josef Holm, Founder and CEO of Akii, search is moving from ranking pages to ranking brands. To stay competitive, companies must understand how AI systems interpret, trust, and surface their brand.

What AI Search Tracker Does

AI Search Tracker is designed to give brands clear visibility into how they appear inside AI search results. It answers fundamental questions that traditional tools cannot.

Are you being recommended
Are you being cited as a source
Which competitors are showing up instead
Which customer questions you win or lose

Key features include:

  • Mention Tracking
See how often your brand appears in AI-generated answers across platforms.
  • Citation Analysis
Understand when AI engines treat your brand as a trusted, cited source rather than a passing mention.
  • Competitor Insights
Identify which competitors are being recommended instead of you and how often.
  • Prompt Insights
Connect AI visibility directly to the questions and intents real users are asking.
  • Global Reach
Monitor AI search visibility across seven languages, including English, Spanish, and German.

How It Works

The process is intentionally straightforward.

  1. Enter Your Topic
Provide your brand name and primary subject or industry.
  2. Generate Prompts
Akii creates realistic AI search prompts based on how users actually ask questions.
  3. Run Analysis
These prompts are executed across multiple AI search engines.
  4. View Results
You receive a dashboard showing brand mentions, citations, competitors, and visibility gaps.

AI Search Tracker also integrates with AI Engage, allowing teams to act on low-visibility prompts and strengthen brand signals across AI systems.

Why You Need This Data

AI-generated answers increasingly influence buying decisions. Customers trust these summaries and recommendations, often before visiting a website.

Without visibility into AI responses, brands are operating without feedback. AI Search Tracker reveals what was previously hidden and turns it into measurable, actionable insight.

This allows teams to adjust content, authority signals, and positioning based on how AI actually represents their brand.
