Ethereum Holds, & XRP Presses Resistance, But BlockDAG’s $0.003 Entry Window Is What Traders Are Watching Right Now

As 2026 kicks off, the crypto market is heating up with fresh opportunities. Ethereum’s current price continues to hold firm at important levels, fueling optimism for short-term gains. Meanwhile, XRP’s price is pressing against a major resistance, drawing attention as traders watch for a breakout to cap the year.

But while Ethereum and XRP stay in the spotlight, BlockDAG (BDAG) is picking up rapid momentum as its presale nears completion. Priced now at $0.003, with a listing set for $0.05, BlockDAG offers a staggering 1,566% potential jump from current levels. With more than $441 million raised and the January 26 deadline locked in, the project is capturing massive interest positioning it as the best crypto to buy right now.

Ethereum Current Price Shows Strength as It Holds Key Support

Ethereum remains in a strong technical position. The Ethereum current price is sticking near significant support zones, which many believe could serve as a springboard for further gains. The ETH/BTC ratio is also flashing signs of growth, with several analysts predicting ETH could outperform if current market dynamics hold.

Some experts say that if Bitcoin starts to lose momentum, Ethereum may become the frontrunner. That belief is largely based on how the Ethereum current price has stayed stable, while other altcoins show more volatility. Key indicators like shrinking BTC dominance and solid ETH activity suggest Ethereum might soon take a more central role in the market. For those tracking consistent performance, ETH remains one of the best crypto to buy in the current landscape.

XRP’s Price Aims for Breakout Beyond $2.22

XRP is steadily building toward a potential breakout. After clearing resistance at $1.21 and $1.54, the XRP price is now pushing toward the critical $2.22 mark. Traders are closely watching this level, with many suggesting a move beyond it could open the door to $2.40 or even $2.50 in the days ahead.

Right now, XRP is trading close to $2.15. A confirmed daily close above $2.22 would likely signal a sharp shift in direction, bringing in a wave of bullish energy. The coin’s recent pattern of higher lows is giving analysts more confidence that XRP is building up for a powerful surge. As a result, XRP remains firmly on the radar as one of the best crypto to buy, particularly for those looking for breakout potential.

BlockDAG Strengthens Momentum Ahead of Its January 26 Close

BlockDAG is attracting major attention as it moves into the final days of its presale, currently priced at just $0.003. With the official listing set at $0.05, analysts are now forecasting an opening range between $0.38 and $0.43. That puts early participants in a position to see a possible 126× to 143× gain from today’s price. The buzz around BlockDAG isn’t just speculative, it’s supported by strong data and growing demand.

So far, over $441 million has been raised, and the January 26 presale close is now confirmed. There are no extensions planned, which makes the current price point a rare opportunity. Over 20 exchanges have already announced support for BDAG at launch, helping ensure liquidity from day one. With a limited circulating supply at release, the price discovery phase could push the coin toward the higher end of forecasted levels.

Market watchers are now putting BlockDAG on their list of the best crypto to buy, especially as the presale draws to a close. Its combination of fixed pricing, strong fundamentals, and broad community support makes it one of the most anticipated launches of the year. The $0.003 window is rapidly closing, and once it does, entry at this level won’t be possible again.

Closing Thoughts

The year might be ending, but crypto momentum is building rapidly. The Ethereum current price is holding firm, XRP is testing major resistance, and both continue to attract heavy attention. But it’s BlockDAG that’s generating the most buzz, trading at just $0.003 with a forecasted debut between $0.38 and $0.43.

As excitement builds and time runs out, BlockDAG is proving itself more than just hype. Backed by strong fundamentals and a growing community, it is already being mentioned alongside the best crypto to buy in 2026. With the presale ending January 26, this could be the final window to enter before the next phase begins.

Cryptos Signal Divergence Ahead of Fed Rate Decision

Cryptos Signal Divergence Ahead of Fed Rate Decision

The post Cryptos Signal Divergence Ahead of Fed Rate Decision appeared on BitcoinEthereumNews.com. Crypto assets send conflicting signals ahead of the Federal Reserve’s September rate decision. On-chain data reveals a clear decrease in Bitcoin and Ethereum flowing into centralized exchanges, but a sharp increase in altcoin inflows. The findings come from a Tuesday report by CryptoQuant, an on-chain data platform. The firm’s data shows a stark divergence in coin volume, which has been observed in movements onto centralized exchanges over the past few weeks. Bitcoin and Ethereum Inflows Drop to Multi-Month Lows Sponsored Sponsored Bitcoin has seen a dramatic drop in exchange inflows, with the 7-day moving average plummeting to 25,000 BTC, its lowest level in over a year. The average deposit per transaction has fallen to 0.57 BTC as of September. This suggests that smaller retail investors, rather than large-scale whales, are responsible for the recent cash-outs. Ethereum is showing a similar trend, with its daily exchange inflows decreasing to a two-month low. CryptoQuant reported that the 7-day moving average for ETH deposits on exchanges is around 783,000 ETH, the lowest in two months. Other Altcoins See Renewed Selling Pressure In contrast, other altcoin deposit activity on exchanges has surged. The number of altcoin deposit transactions on centralized exchanges was quite steady in May and June of this year, maintaining a 7-day moving average of about 20,000 to 30,000. Recently, however, that figure has jumped to 55,000 transactions. Altcoins: Exchange Inflow Transaction Count. Source: CryptoQuant CryptoQuant projects that altcoins, given their increased inflow activity, could face relatively higher selling pressure compared to BTC and ETH. Meanwhile, the balance of stablecoins on exchanges—a key indicator of potential buying pressure—has increased significantly. The report notes that the exchange USDT balance, around $273 million in April, grew to $379 million by August 31, marking a new yearly high. CryptoQuant interprets this surge as a reflection of…
