PANews reported on January 8 that, according to on-chain analyst Yu Jin, Gate conducted its Q4 2025 GT on-chain burn half an hour ago: 2.1639 million GT (worth $22.28 million) were transferred to their GT burn address.
Gate's token burning is now done quarterly. Since 2019, a total of 185 million GT (worth $1.9 billion) have been burned, while the total supply of GT is 300 million. That is to say, after deducting the burned GT, the actual total supply of GT is now 115 million, with a market value of $1.186 billion.
