TransactionTree Appoints Kevin Saum as Chief Executive Officer to Lead Next Phase of Growth

ATLANTA–(BUSINESS WIRE)–TransactionTree, a retail technology company delivering a unified Customer360 Retail Operations Platform, today announced that Kevin Saum has been appointed Chief Executive Officer, effective immediately. Saum will lead the company’s next phase of growth as TransactionTree expands its platform and strengthens partnerships with mid-sized and enterprise retailers.

Saum brings to TransactionTree a proven record of executive leadership in retail technology and enterprise software. Most recently, he served as Senior Vice President of Sales at Tulip Retail. Across his career, Saum has held senior leadership roles with leading retail technology and consulting organizations including Aptos, Zebra (Reflexis), W. Capra, and Blue Yonder (JDA/RedPrairie). In these roles, he helped global retailers modernize store operations, improve merchandising execution, enable frontline teams, and adopt scalable platforms that support digital transformation and operational excellence.

“Retailers today face increasing complexity across systems, channels, and customer expectations,” said Saum. “TransactionTree’s Customer360 platform is purpose-built to simplify that complexity by unifying transactional intelligence, operational execution, and customer engagement in a single, flexible platform. I’m excited to work alongside this team and our customers to drive measurable value and long-term growth.”

Leadership Alignment to Support Scale and Customer Success

As part of the leadership transition, TransactionTree’s co-founders have assumed refined executive roles aligned with the company’s long-term strategy. Jason Shapiro now serves as Chief Innovation Officer, leading product vision, platform strategy, and innovation. Jose Jimenez has been appointed Chief Operations Officer, overseeing operational execution, delivery, and scalable processes. Chris Wilson continues in his role as Chief Technology Officer, guiding platform architecture, engineering strategy, performance, and security.

“Our priority has always been our customers,” said Shapiro. “This structure allows us to innovate quickly while ensuring the stability, control, and single source of truth retailers need as they scale.”

Jimenez added, “These investments ensure we continue delivering the responsiveness, reliability, and partnership our customers expect—without disruption.”

To further support customer success and go-to-market execution, TransactionTree has strengthened its leadership team with recent additions, including Scott Simonton as Senior Vice President of Sales Operations and Susan Freimuth as Vice President of Client & Partner Relations. Simonton focuses on building scalable sales processes to support predictable growth, while Freimuth strengthens customer and partner relationships through improved alignment, communication, and collaboration.

To support its expanding organization and growing ecosystem of customers and partners, TransactionTree recently relocated its corporate headquarters to The River Ridge, located at 9040 Roswell Road, Suite 540, in Atlanta, Georgia. The new headquarters provides a centralized hub for collaboration, product innovation, and customer engagement.
