Sei launches its Market Infrastructure Grid to streamline global distribution and access, connecting enterprises to active digital asset markets worldwide.

Sei has unveiled its Market Infrastructure Grid, a comprehensive framework aimed at streamlining the distribution and access of digital markets globally. This initiative is designed to enhance the connectivity of enterprises and institutions with active participants in digital asset ecosystems, according to Sei.

Global Exchange Gateways

Global exchanges play a crucial role in facilitating access to the Sei ecosystem. Major platforms such as OKX and Bitget provide pathways for over 90 million users in more than 150 countries, effectively solving the on-ramp problem for enterprises deploying on Sei. This global reach ensures that new deployments have instant access to a broad user base and liquidity.

In the United States, exchanges like Coinbase, Robinhood, and Binance.US connect Sei-based markets to institutional and retail capital, expanding reach within the world’s largest economy. In the Asia-Pacific region, platforms like Upbit and OSL significantly contribute to Sei’s market penetration, with Upbit holding a dominant position in South Korea’s crypto market.

Institutional & Consumer On-Ramps

Sei’s infrastructure includes robust on-ramp solutions, simplifying capital entry into onchain markets. Services like MoonPay and Transak facilitate seamless fiat-to-crypto transactions, supporting over 30 million users globally. These solutions eliminate the cold-start problem for projects by providing instant integration and compliance-ready pathways.

Enterprise-grade solutions such as Simplex offer regulated payment processing with fraud protection, catering to high-volume capital entry needs. This infrastructure bridges traditional finance and onchain markets, enhancing distribution capabilities.

User Interaction Layer

Sei’s user interaction layer comprises wallets and checkout systems that simplify market access. Platforms like MetaMask and Backpack provide familiar interfaces, connecting Sei’s deployments to established user bases. Meanwhile, services like Crossmint and Sphere abstract the onboarding process, offering email logins and credit card payments without requiring traditional wallet management.

The Entry Point for Modern Markets

The Distribution & Access System is pivotal to Sei’s market strategy, acting as the circulatory system for digital markets. It ensures that infrastructure is not just built but actively utilized, enabling capital flow and user engagement from day one. With extensive exchange networks, wallet integrations, and on-ramp solutions in place, Sei positions itself as a foundational infrastructure for modern market deployments.

By providing ready-made distribution channels, Sei allows enterprises to focus on innovation rather than building foundational access pathways. This strategic approach underscores Sei’s commitment to facilitating seamless integration into the global digital asset ecosystem.

Fed Makes First Rate Cut of the Year, Lowers Rates by 25 Bps

The post Fed Makes First Rate Cut of the Year, Lowers Rates by 25 Bps appeared on BitcoinEthereumNews.com. The Federal Reserve has made its first Fed rate cut this year following today’s FOMC meeting, lowering interest rates by 25 basis points (bps). This comes in line with expectations, while the crypto market awaits Fed Chair Jerome Powell’s speech for guidance on the committee’s stance moving forward. FOMC Makes First Fed Rate Cut This Year With 25 Bps Cut In a press release, the committee announced that it has decided to lower the target range for the federal funds rate by 25 bps from between 4.25% and 4.5% to 4% and 4.25%. This comes in line with expectations as market participants were pricing in a 25 bps cut, as against a 50 bps cut. This marks the first Fed rate cut this year, with the last cut before this coming last year in December. Notably, the Fed also made the first cut last year in September, although it was a 50 bps cut back then. All Fed officials voted in favor of a 25 bps cut except Stephen Miran, who dissented in favor of a 50 bps cut. This rate cut decision comes amid concerns that the labor market may be softening, with recent U.S. jobs data pointing to a weak labor market. The committee noted in the release that job gains have slowed, and that the unemployment rate has edged up but remains low. They added that inflation has moved up and remains somewhat elevated. Fed Chair Jerome Powell had also already signaled at the Jackson Hole Conference that they were likely to lower interest rates with the downside risk in the labor market rising. The committee reiterated this in the release that downside risks to employment have risen. Before the Fed rate cut decision, experts weighed in on whether the FOMC should make a 25 bps cut or…
