PANews reported on January 9th that, according to official disclosures from Truebit and Lookonchain, a security incident recently occurred on the Truebit protocol. Its smart contract (address: 0x764C64b2A09b09Acb100B80d8c505Aa6a0302EF2) was maliciously attacked, resulting in the theft of 8,535 ETH (approximately $26.44 million). Truebit has advised users to avoid interacting with this contract and is cooperating with law enforcement agencies in the investigation. The team will continue to release updates through official channels.
