SINGAPORE & CINCINNATI–(BUSINESS WIRE)–Great American Insurance Group is pleased to announce the hiring of Mr. Nattakorn (Natt) Wattanaumphaipong as Senior Director, Technical Underwriting for the Singapore Branch of its flagship insurer, Great American Insurance Company.

In this role, he will oversee the strategic management of technical underwriting and portfolio management, executing underwriting strategies that support the Singapore Branch’s business expansion plan. He will also work with the Singapore Branch CEO and Deputy CEO to drive product development and identify opportunities to penetrate existing and new markets for profitable growth.

Mr. Wattanaumphaipong brings more than 20 years of industry experience, having held key leadership positions in management, reinsurance underwriting and business development throughout Asia Pacific. Prior to this role, he served as Deputy Chief Underwriting Officer at a global specialty and property and casualty (re)insurer based in Singapore. He was also Director and Head of P&C underwriting, Asia with a reinsurance company based in Singapore and China.

Mr. Wattanaumphaipong earned a Master of Business Administration with NUS and Master of Commerce from University of New South Wales. He is also an Accredited Director with the Singapore Institute of Directors.
