Anne Hathaway stars in and executive produces “Fear Not,” a true-crime story of faith and survival.

What do you do when you don’t have an original hit series? You hire Anne Hathaway. The Academy Award-winning actress (Les Misérables, The Devil Wears Prada) will star in and executive produce the limited drama series Fear Not for Paramount+.
Written by Bash Doran (Outlaw King, Boardwalk Empire), Fear Not tells the true story of serial killer Stephen Morin and the unexpected bond he formed with Margy Palm (Hathaway), the last woman he ever kidnapped. According to the logline: “What began as a harrowing captivity evolved into a remarkable story of compassion, prayer, and courage. Palm’s steadfast faith and belief in Morin’s capacity for redemption shaped a relationship that endured long after her return to safety, continuing until Morin received the death penalty.”

Hathaway first gained attention on television in the 1999–2000 dramedy Get Real and reached a career zenith with an Oscar win in 2013 for Best Supporting Actress in Les Misérables.
