There is no definitive list of the bestselling musical artists of all time, because it’s difficult to certify sales from the decades before digital tracking was implemented. There are also dozens of countries that either don’t have proper reporting systems or which didn’t introduce them until recently.

On any estimated ranking, Queen must sit in a lofty position. The British rock band enjoyed one of the greatest runs ever in the seventies, eighties, and nineties, and though the group hasn’t delivered a new full-length in decades, Queen’s songs and albums regularly continue to rank as top sellers in many major markets. The rockers see two beloved singles become bestsellers again in America, as the beloved outfit dominates one sales tally.

“Bohemian Rhapsody” and “Under Pressure” Return Together

On this week’s Hard Rock Digital Song Sales chart, the list of the bestselling hard rock-only tunes on platforms like iTunes and Amazon throughout the United States, a pair of Queen classics return. “Bohemian Rhapsody” and “Under Pressure,” a collaboration between the band and David Bowie, surge back onto the purchase-only roster at Nos. 6 and No. 7, respectively, landing side by side. The Hard Rock Digital Song Sales roster only features 10 spaces, so any comeback is notable, and two returns during one tracking frame is especially impressive.

“Bohemian Rhapsody” Leads Queen’s Top Sellers

“Bohemian Rhapsody” and “Under Pressure” are counted among Queen’s three No. 1s on the Hard Rock Digital Song Sales chart. “Bohemian Rhapsody” is easily the most successful of the trio. In fact, it’s the biggest of the group’s hits overall, as the smash has led the charge for 51 weeks, just under a year.

“Under Pressure” only managed three turns at No. 1 shortly after Bowie’s unexpected passing a decade ago. Queen’s “Face It Alone” also managed a sole turn on the throne back in 2022, but it does not regularly find space on this sales ranking.

“Bohemian Rhapsody” Ranks as Queen’s Longest-Charting Hit

“Bohemian Rhapsody” also ranks as Queen’s longest-running success on the Hard Rock Digital Song Sales chart. As of this period, the unusual composition reaches 666 weeks as one of the bestselling hard rock tracks in the nation.

Several additional Queen favorites have spent hundreds of periods on the list, including timeless favorites like “Another One Bites the Dust,” “We Are the Champions,” and “We Will Rock You,” which only trails by a few months, but none give “Bohemian Rhapsody” a run for its money in terms of tenure on the tally.

“We Will Rock You” Grants Queen a Third Bestseller

Impressively, Queen claims yet another win on the Hard Rock Digital Song Sales chart, with the group bringing its total count to three successes this week. “We Will Rock You” dips slightly, falling from No. 8 to No. 9.

Which Queen Cuts Peaked at No. 2 on the Hard Rock Chart?

Five cuts by Queen have missed out on leading the Hard Rock Digital Song Sales chart by just one space, and “We Will Rock You” is counted among them. Also included in that collection are “Fat Bottomed Girls,” “Don’t Stop Me Now,” “Somebody to Love,” and the William Orbit mix of “Let Me in Your Heart Again.”

The Hard Rock Digital Song Sales chart may be one of Billboard’s shortest rosters, but Queen is not the only name to appear more than once at the moment. Metallica scores a pair of top five bestsellers, as “Enter Sandman” holds in the runner-up space, while “Master of Puppets” lifts from No. 6 to No. 4. Those tunes rank as Metallica’s longest-charting No. 1s among the outfit’s five winners.

Michigan’s Stalled Reserve Bill Advances After 7 Months

The post Michigan’s Stalled Reserve Bill Advances After 7 Months appeared on BitcoinEthereumNews.com. After seven months of inactivity, Michigan’s Bitcoin Reserve Bill, HB 4087, made progress Thursday by advancing to the second reading in the state House of Representatives. The bill, introduced in February, aims to establish a strategic bitcoin BTC$115,427.11 reserve by authorizing the state treasury to invest up to 10% of its reserves in the largest cryptocurrency and possibly others. It has now been referred to the Committee on Government Operations. If approved, Michigan would join the three states — Texas, New Hampshire and Arizona — that have enacted bitcoin reserve laws. While Texas allocated $10 million to purchase BTC in June, the other two have yet to fund the reserve with state money. Recently, the U.S. House directed the Treasury Department to study the feasibility and governance of a strategic bitcoin reserve, including key areas such as custody, cybersecurity and accounting standards. Sovereign adoption of bitcoin has emerged as one of the defining trends of 2025, with several U.S. states and countries considering or implementing BTC reserves as part of their public finance strategy. That’s in addition to the growing corporate adoption of bitcoin in company treasuries. This institutional embrace has contributed to a significant boost in bitcoin’s market valuation. The BTC price has increased 25% this year, and touched a record high near $124,500 in August, CoinDesk data show. Despite the enthusiasm, skeptics remain concerned about the risks posed by bitcoin’s notorious price volatility.
