PANews reported on January 21 that the State Council Information Office held a press conference today to introduce the achievements of industrial and information technology development by 2025. Zhang Yunming, Vice Minister of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT), stated that the MIIT will continue to promote technological innovation and iterative upgrades in humanoid robots, using them as a starting point to drive the development of the large-scale computing intelligence industry. The MIIT will continue to strengthen the testing and inspection of humanoid robot products in terms of quality, network, and data security, and conduct relevant scientific and technological ethics research and management services to ensure high-quality development with high-level security. At the same time, the MIIT will accelerate the development of the humanoid robot ecosystem, strengthen the support of the National Artificial Intelligence Industry Investment Fund for humanoid robots, build an open-source community for humanoid robots, and release guidelines for the construction of a comprehensive standardization system for humanoid robots and embodied intelligence to promote the global sharing of innovative achievements.
