MORPHO Technical Analysis Jan 23

4 min read

The volume story in MORPHO indicates weak bearish pressure with low market participation. Despite the price decline, the lack of volume confirmation carries potential accumulation signals, but the overall trend requires caution.

Volume Profile and Market Participation

MORPHO’s 24-hour trading volume is hovering at the 5.25 million dollar level, which is about 40% below the recent 7-day average volume. This low volume shows limited market participation; although the price is up +1.01% at the $1.20 level, the general downtrend dominates. In the volume profile, high-volume nodes are concentrated in the $1.14-$1.19 range, standing out as a strong support zone. Low-volume upward movements reflect a lack of conviction, but the low volume in down moves may signal that selling pressure is exhausting. Multi-timeframe (MTF) volume analysis detects 10 strong levels in 1D/3D/1W timeframes: 3 supports/2 resistances in 1D, 3 resistances in 3D, 2 supports/3 resistances balance in 1W. This structure emphasizes that volume is not supporting the price and carries potential for sideways consolidation. Healthy volume should increase in the trend direction; here, divergence is observed: While price is bearish under EMAs, the volume decline confirms weak momentum.

Accumulation or Distribution?

Accumulation Signals

Low-volume down moves are a classic signal for accumulation: In MORPHO, volume during recent declines is below average, increasing the likelihood of smart money picking up at the bottom. No volume spikes at supports $1.1938 (69/100) and $1.0750 (68/100), price is holding – potential accumulation base. RSI at 43.99 is near oversold, volume divergence could pave the way for a bullish reversal. In MTF, 1W supports (around $1.1393) align with volume, institutional buyers may be quietly building positions.

Distribution Risks

If volume increases at resistances ($1.2153, 64/100; $1.3254, 63/100), it’s a distribution warning: Currently being tested with low volume, if breakout lacks conviction, there’s fakeout risk. 3D timeframe has 3 dominant resistances, high-volume rejections could trigger distribution. Supertrend bearish ($1.41 resistance), MACD negative histogram supports weak sales with low volume confirmation, but overall low participation delays distribution.

Price-Volume Harmony

Price is under EMA20 ($1.25) in downtrend, but volume decline does not confirm the move – unhealthy pattern. No volume spike in the +1.01% upward change, lack of conviction. Low volume in down moves shows selling exhaustion. Divergence: Volume decreases as price falls, potential bullish divergence. Volume test at key levels is critical: If $1.1938 support holds with volume, bullish confirmation; if broken, bearish acceleration. Bullish target $1.66 (26/100) requires volume increase, bearish $0.7568 (22/100) possible with low-volume decline.

Big Player Activity

At institutional levels, volume footprints are limited: With 5.25M volume, whale wallet movements are low, but accumulation footprints exist at the $1.14 node. Large block trades are few in down moves, suggesting smart money is awaiting a short squeeze. Volume profile POC (Point of Control) around $1.19, institutional interest concentrated here. Risk: Sudden spikes could be distribution traps, watch MTF resistances.

Bitcoin Correlation

BTC $89,716 (+0.58%) in downtrend, supertrend bearish – caution for altcoins. If BTC supports $88,429/$86,660 break, it could drag MORPHO to $1.07. Resistances above $91,058 breakout would trigger $1.32 test in MORPHO. Correlation high: BTC dominance increase suppresses MORPHO volume, wait for BTC stability for alt volume explosion. Key BTC levels: Risk below $88k, relief above $91k.

Volume-Based Outlook

Volume shows low participation, downtrend lacks conviction – short-term sideways $1.14-$1.22, breakout should be confirmed with volume. Divergences favor accumulation, but BTC bearish carries risk. Outlook: Neutral-bullish tilt, $1.1938 volume test bullish, below $1.07. Follow MORPHO Spot Analysis and MORPHO Futures Analysis. Volume lesson: Low vol down = exhaustion, spike up = conviction search.

The post The Manchester City Donnarumma Doubters Have Missed Something Huge appeared on BitcoinEthereumNews.com. MANCHESTER, ENGLAND – SEPTEMBER 14: Gianluigi Donnarumma of Manchester City celebrates the second City goal during the Premier League match between Manchester City and Manchester United at Etihad Stadium on September 14, 2025 in Manchester, England. (Photo by Visionhaus/Getty Images) Visionhaus/Getty Images For a goalkeeper who’d played an influential role in the club’s first-ever Champions League triumph, it was strange to see Gianluigi Donnarumma so easily discarded. Soccer is a brutal game, but the sudden, drastic demotion of the Italian from Paris Saint-Germain’s lineup for the UEFA Super Cup clash against Tottenham Hotspur before he was sold to Manchester City was shockingly brutal. Coach Luis Enrique isn’t a man who minces his words, so he was blunt when asked about the decision on social media. “I am supported by my club and we are trying to find the best solution,” he told a news conference. “It is a difficult decision. I only have praise for Donnarumma. He is one of the very best goalkeepers out there and an even better man. “But we were looking for a different profile. It’s very difficult to take these types of decisions.” The last line has really stuck, especially since it became clear that Manchester City was Donnarumma’s next destination. Pep Guardiola, under whom the Italian will be playing this season, is known for brutally axing goalkeepers he didn’t feel fit his profile. The most notorious was Joe Hart, who was jettisoned many years ago for very similar reasons to Enrique. So how can it be that the Catalan coach is turning once again to a so-called old-school keeper? Well, the truth, as so often the case, is not quite that simple. As Italian soccer expert James Horncastle pointed out in The Athletic, Enrique’s focus on needing a “different profile” is overblown. Lucas Chevalier,…

The post This U.S. politician’s suspicious stock trade just returned over 200% in weeks appeared on BitcoinEthereumNews.com. United States Representative Cloe Fields has seen his stake in Opendoor Technologies (NASDAQ: OPEN) stock return over 200% in just a matter of weeks. According to congressional trade filings, the lawmaker purchased a stake in the online real estate company on July 21, 2025, investing between $1,001 and $15,000. At the time, the stock was trading around $2 and had been largely stagnant for months. Source: Finbold Assuming he invested a minimum of $1,001, the purchase would now be worth about $3,200, while a $15,000 stake would have grown to nearly $48,000, generating profits of roughly $2,200 and $33,000, respectively. OPEN’s stock rally Notably, Opendoor’s rally has been fueled by major corporate shifts and market speculation. For instance, in August, the company named former Shopify COO Kaz Nejatian as CEO, while co-founders Keith Rabois and Eric Wu rejoined the board, moves seen as a return to the company’s early innovative spirit.  Outgoing CEO Carrie Wheeler’s resignation and sale of millions in stock reinforced the sense of a new chapter. Beyond leadership changes, Opendoor’s surge has taken on meme-stock characteristics. In this case, retail investors piled in as shares climbed, while short sellers scrambled to cover, pushing prices higher.  However, the stock is still not without challenges, where its iBuying model is untested at scale, margins are thin, and debt tied to…
