The countdown to Super Bowl LX is officially on. In just a few weeks, the winners of the AFC and NFC Championships will face off at Levi’s Stadium for Super Bowl XL.
Kicking off Championship Sunday on Jan. 25, the AFC’s New England Patriots (16–3) traveled to Empower Field at Mile High to face the Denver Broncos (15–3). In near-blizzard conditions, the Patriots — led by rising star quarterback Drake Maye — secured a 10–7 victory, clinching their spot in Super Bowl 2026.
As for the NFC finalists, the Seattle Seahawks (15–3) are hosting the Los Angeles Rams (14–5) at Lumen Field. The game kicks off at 6:30 p.m. ET on FOX, with either the Seahawks or the Rams set to square off against the Patriots for the Vince Lombardi Trophy. (Stay tuned for the results.)

When Is The 2026 Super Bowl?

Super Bowl 2026 will take place on Sunday, February 8, at 6:30 p.m. ET / 3:30 p.m. PT on NBC and Peacock.
Where Is Super Bowl 2026?

The 2026 Super Bowl will be held at Levi’s Stadium, the home of the San Francisco 49ers, in Santa Clara, California. The stadium, which opened in 2014 and seats 68,500, previously hosted the Super Bowl in 2016, when the Denver Broncos defeated the Carolina Panthers 24–10.
Looking ahead, the 2027 Super Bowl will kick off at SoFi Stadium in Inglewood, California, home of the Los Angeles Rams and Los Angeles Chargers, while the 2028 championship will be held at the Atlanta Falcons’ Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta, Georgia.
Who’s Performing At The 2026 Super Bowl?

Puerto Rican superstar Bad Bunny (born Benito Antonio Martínez Ocasio) will headline the 2026 Super Bowl halftime show. Bad Bunny first appeared on the halftime stage in 2020 as a special guest during Jennifer Lopez and Shakira’s performance.
“What I’m feeling goes beyond myself. It’s for those who came before me and ran countless yards so I could come in and score a touchdown… this is for my people, my culture, and our history. Ve y dile a tu abuela, que seremos el halftime show del Super Bowl,” the three-time Grammy-winning rapper said in a statement, per Entertainment Weekly.
Rock band Green Day will also perform during this year’s opening ceremony. Charlie Puth will sing the national anthem, while Brandi Carlile will perform “America the Beautiful” and R&B star Coco Jones will sing “Lift Every Voice and Sing.”
Jay-Z’s Roc Nation, the NFL’s official live music entertainment partner, will continue to produce the star-studded halftime show for its seventh year.
How To Watch Super Bowl 60
The 2026 Super Bowl will air live on NBC and stream on Peacock on Feb. 8, 2026, at 6:30 p.m. ET.
If you don’t have NBC, cord-cutters can access the network through a live TV streaming service such as DirecTV Stream, YouTube TV and Hulu + Live TV, all of which currently offer free trials.
Viewers can also stream Super Bowl 60 on Peacock, where the platform’s Premium Monthly plan starts at $10.99 per month (or $109.99 annually), while Premium Plus (ad-free) costs $16.99 per month (or $169.99 annually).
Is Peacock Offering A Free Trial For The Super Bowl?
Although Peacock does not currently offer a free trial, the streamer is offering 12 months for the price of 10 with the purchase of an annual plan.
