WisdomTree Launches Tokenized Funds on Solana Blockchain

WisdomTree launches tokenized funds on Solana blockchain, offering $1B+ real-world assets and fast, compliant on-chain investor access globally.

Asset manager WisdomTree has launched its tokenized funds on the Solana blockchain, enabling investors faster access to regulated on-chain financial products. Solana’s fast and cheap network backs these offerings effectively.

Consequently, retail and institutional investors now have wider investment possibilities and they stay fully on-chain. This expansion is a significant leap into bridging the gap between conventional finance and digital assets.

WisdomTree Brings Complete Fund Suite to Solana

WisdomTree’s entire tokenized fund suite, including money market, equity and fixed income products is now available on Solana. Therefore, clients will have the opportunity to diversify their portfolios with regulated on-chain assets without leaving the blockchain ecosystem.

Maredith Hannon from WisdomTree highlighted that this step caters to the demand for more crypto-based natives while maintaining high institutional compliance standards. The WisdomTree Connect platform now supports Solana integration 100%. Institutions on this blockchain can mint tokenized funds themselves, which can be used for efficient B2B and B2B2C issuance.

Moreover, this platform enables financial partners to easily enter the digital asset market. It also guarantees that tokenized real-world assets will be fully compliant, accessible and transparent to retail and institutional investors globally.

Enhanced Investor Access and Features on Solana

WisdomTree Prime users also have new functionalities available to them with the integration with Solana. Investors can on-ramp USDC directly into the platform and buy yield generating tokenized funds completely on-chain.

Additionally, stablecoin conversion services make it easier to invest in USD-based investments, as they make the process more liquid and efficient. This integration gives investors the ability to stay fully within the blockchain while giving them access to regulated, compliant products in an efficient way.

Investors are also able to off-ramp holdings to self-custody/wallets on Solana, interacting with other native applications and protocols. Significantly, the total amount of real world assets on Solana has now surpassed $1,000,000,000 – a significant indicator of high demand in the market.

Nick Ducoff, of the Solana Foundation, said that WisdomTree’s launch is a big sign that regulated managers are in the process of shaping the development of on-chain finance. This milestone is a sign of increasing adoption of tokenized assets by institutional and retail investors alike.

WisdomTree Enables Faster, Compliant Tokenized Fund Access on Solana

The expansion also connects the old finance and blockchain technology in a scalable and compliant manner. It gives a definite, controlled route for tokenized assets to work with mainstream financial frameworks.

Consequently, other asset managers are likely to follow WisdomTree’s lead, which will lead to an uptick in adoption of on-chain real-world assets. This trend is likely to increase the growth of tokenized investment products around the world.

WisdomTree’s Solana integration is a further sign of the growth in regulated digital finance solutions. Investors have access to faster, cheaper, and fully compliant tokenized funds.

With $1B+ in assets live on Solana, this milestone highlights the increasing importance of tokenized real-world assets. Therefore, the development means a significant step towards combining traditional finance practices with decentralized blockchain technologies for wider adoption.

WisdomTree’s expansion to Solana helps to strengthen regulated on-chain finance and enhance access to investors. This move will enable faster, compliant transactions yet support further growth of tokenized real-world assets. It is an important step towards mainstream adoption of blockchain.

Two weeks ago, the CFTC gave Polymarket the green light to allow those very same US residents to place bets on whatever they like. This is quite the turn of events — and it’s not just about elections or politics. With its US government seal of approval in hand, Polymarket is reportedly raising capital at a valuation of $9 billion — a reflection of the growing belief that prediction markets will be used for much more than betting on elections once every four years. Instead, proponents say prediction markets can provide a real service to the world by providing it with better information about nearly everything. I think they might, too — but only if insiders are free to participate. Yesterday, for example, Polymarket announced new betting markets on company earnings reports, with a promise that it would improve the information that investors have to work with.  Instead of waiting three months to find out how a company is faring, investors could simply watch the odds on Polymarket.  If the probability of an earnings beat is rising, for example, investors would know at a glance that things are going well. But that will only happen if enough of the people betting actually know how things are going. Relying on the wisdom of crowds to magically discern how a business is doing won’t add much incremental knowledge to the world; everyone’s guesses are unlikely to average out to the truth. If…

Franklin Templeton CEO Dismisses 50bps Rate Cut Ahead FOMC

The post Franklin Templeton CEO Dismisses 50bps Rate Cut Ahead FOMC appeared on BitcoinEthereumNews.com. Franklin Templeton CEO Jenny Johnson has weighed in on whether the Federal Reserve should make a 25 basis points (bps) Fed rate cut or 50 bps cut. This comes ahead of the Fed decision today at today’s FOMC meeting, with the market pricing in a 25 bps cut. Bitcoin and the broader crypto market are currently trading flat ahead of the rate cut decision. Franklin Templeton CEO Weighs In On Potential FOMC Decision In a CNBC interview, Jenny Johnson said that she expects the Fed to make a 25 bps cut today instead of a 50 bps cut. She acknowledged the jobs data, which suggested that the labor market is weakening. However, she noted that this data is backward-looking, indicating that it doesn’t show the current state of the economy. She alluded to the wage growth, which she remarked is an indication of a robust labor market. She added that retail sales are up and that consumers are still spending, despite inflation being sticky at 3%, which makes a case for why the FOMC should opt against a 50-basis-point Fed rate cut. In line with this, the Franklin Templeton CEO said that she would go with a 25 bps rate cut if she were Jerome Powell. She remarked that the Fed still has the October and December FOMC meetings to make further cuts if the incoming data warrants it. Johnson also asserted that the data show a robust economy. However, she noted that there can’t be an argument for no Fed rate cut since Powell already signaled at Jackson Hole that they were likely to lower interest rates at this meeting due to concerns over a weakening labor market. Notably, her comment comes as experts argue for both sides on why the Fed should make a 25 bps cut or…
