WisdomTree has officially expanded its tokenized fund offerings to the Solana blockchain, opening new doors for institutional and retail investors seeking seamless access to real world assets.
WisdomTree, a New York Stock Exchange–listed asset manager, has integrated Solana as part of its broader multi-chain strategy. This allows users on WisdomTree Connect and WisdomTree Prime to mint and manage tokenized funds natively on Solana, leveraging the blockchain’s high throughput and cost-efficiency.
The move brings WisdomTree’s full lineup of regulated, tokenized investment products to Solana, marking a major step forward for blockchain-based finance. The fund suite includes money market products, equities, fixed income, alternatives, and asset allocation strategies.
These tokenized offerings are distributed through blockchain infrastructure instead of traditional fund platforms. Investors can interact with these assets through WisdomTree Connect and WisdomTree Prime, both of which are now compatible with Solana.
Solana’s infrastructure supports WisdomTree’s need for regulatory compliance while appealing to crypto-native audiences. Maredith Hannon, Head of Business Development for Digital Assets at WisdomTree, said the integration helps meet growing demand for real world assets across the blockchain ecosystem, while maintaining the standards expected by institutional clients.
WisdomTree’s decision is also a significant vote of confidence for Solana, which is emerging as a strong contender in the real world asset (RWA) space. With over 1.3 billion dollars in onchain RWA value, Solana currently ranks as the fourth-largest blockchain in this segment, according to RWA.xyz. Though Ethereum leads with over 60 percent of the market, Solana’s speed, cost efficiency, and scalability are helping it attract more issuers.
Nick Ducoff, Head of Institutional Growth at the Solana Foundation, noted that WisdomTree’s deployment highlights the growing role regulated managers are playing in shaping onchain finance. He said the expansion reflects rising demand for tokenized assets and Solana’s ability to deliver at scale.
This expansion reflects a broader industry trend: regulated funds are increasingly using blockchain networks as distribution layers. Instead of isolated crypto-only pilot projects, asset managers are now deploying full product lines across multiple chains.
By embracing tokenization in this way, WisdomTree is shortening settlement times and reducing reliance on legacy financial infrastructure. Investors benefit from greater control and flexibility, including the ability to self-custody and interact with DeFi applications.
The model also enables investing through stablecoins, offering an efficient, always-on alternative to traditional cash rails.
In my experience, when a major player like WisdomTree expands its entire product line to a blockchain like Solana, it signals a shift from theory to practice. This isn’t a test run or a demo. It’s a real integration of real products with real users. What I found most impressive is how WisdomTree stayed focused on regulated assets while adapting to crypto-native needs. Solana’s growing reputation for speed and cost-effectiveness makes it a smart match. As tokenized finance scales up, we’ll see more moves like this. The competition among blockchains is just getting started, and Solana is proving it belongs in the conversation.
