Resident of the Windy City lashed out at the Trump administration with a staggering number of submissions for an innocent snowplow naming contest, taking direct aim at U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement.

For the fourth annual snowplow naming battle, a whopping 80 percent of the roughly 13,000 submissions contained anti-ICE sentiment, according to Block Club Chicago, which filed a public records request for a list of submissions.

"Alongside 'Abolish ICE,' other anti-ICE sentiments made up about 79 percent of submissions, including 'ICE Breaker,' 'ICE Be Gone' and 'No More Mr. ICE Guy,'" the report said.

About 70 percent of the total submissions supported "Abolish ICE."

Mayor Brandon Johnson has already signaled his support for the controversial frontrunner.

Voting launches Feb.1-14, with six eventual winners.

ICE and Border Patrol has come under fire following the killings of Renee Good and Alex Pretti in Minneapolis at the hands of federal immigration agents. Harrowing video recorded both killings, which contradicted narratives pushed by the Trump administration, including Kristi Noem, the head of the Department of Homeland Security.

Even before the killings, President Donald Trump's nationwide crackdown on immigration led to fierce backlash with workplace raids and community arrests.
