Cardi B sees her single “ErrTime” climb to new highs on Billboard’s Rap Airplay and Rhythmic Airplay charts, while narrowly missing No. 1 on both rankings. After breaking out nearly a decade ago with her first true smash, “Bodak Yellow (Money Moves),” Cardi B pushed several singles from her debut album, Invasion of Privacy. The project would catapult her to superstardom and make her one of the few female rap artists to win a Grammy.

Cardi quickly began pushing songs from what would become her highly-anticipated sophomore album back in 2018, though the full-length would not drop until seven years later. “ErrTime,” the latest cut promoted from Am I the Drama? nearly earns Cardi another No. 1 smash on multiple Billboard tallies, but this frame, she is blocked from the summit on several rosters by two different tracks.

Cardi B’s Single Misses No. 1 by One Space

“ErrTime” climbs one space to a new high of No. 2 on both the Rap Airplay and Rhythmic Airplay charts. The latest Am I the Drama? single misses out on running the show in its tenth frame on the Rhythmic tally, and after a dozen stints on the roster that looks only at the most successful tunes on radio stations across the United States that Billboard classifies specifically as rap.

Gunna and Burna Boy Block Cardi B from No. 1

Two different cuts keep Cardi from adding to her list of champions on the Rap Airplay chart, as Gunna and Burna Boy’s “WGFT” is comfortable in first place. Over on the Rhythmic Airplay tally, Metro Boomin leads once more with “Take Me Thru Dere,” a highly collaborative affair that credits three musicians in addition to the super producer: Quavo, Breskii and YKNIECE, all of whom jointly step up from No. 2 to No. 1.

Cardi B Eyes a Tenth Rap Airplay Leader

Cardi is looking to land her milestone tenth No. 1 on the Rap Airplay chart, a feat she may very well achieve soon, as “ErrTime” does not have far to go.

Here is a list of all of Cardi B’s No. 1s on the Rap Airplay chart:

  • “Bodak Yellow (Money Moves)”
  • “Tomorrow 2” with GloRilla
  • “Up”
  • “Safe” with Kehlani
  • “No Limit” with G-Eazy and A$AP Rocky
  • “Please Me” with Bruno Mars
  • “Outside”
  • “I Like It” with Bad Bunny and J Balvin

Cardi B’s List of No. 1 Hits on the Rhythmic Airplay Chart

Cardi has landed one additional champion on the Rhythmic Airplay chart, as she is already up to an even 10 winners. Should “ErrTime” make it to the penthouse, the hip-hop powerhouse will land her eleventh ruler.

Here is a list of all of Cardi B’s No. 1s on the Rhythmic Airplay chart:

  • “I Like It” with Bad Bunny and J Balvin
  • “Bodak Yellow (Money Moves)”
  • “Up”
  • “Safe” with Kehlani
  • “Finesse” with Bruno Mars
  • “No Limit” with A$AP Rocky and G-Eazy
  • “Outside”
  • “WAP” with Megan Thee Stallion
  • “Please Me” with Bruno Mars
  • “Be Careful”

Cardi B’s Many Runners-Up

For the moment, “ErrTime” ties with multiple other smashes by Cardi as one of her runners-up. She has now seen half a dozen tunes stall at No. 2 on both the Rap Airplay and Rhythmic Airplay charts, though hopefully “ErrTime” will be able to ascend once more in the coming frames.

In addition to the pair of Billboard tallies where “ErrTime” settles into second place, the single also surges to new highs on three other rosters. “ErrTime” jumps from No. 8 to No. 5 on the Mainstream R&B/Hip-Hop Airplay list, from No. 8 to No. 7 on the R&B/Hip-Hop Airplay ranking, and to No. 30, up six spaces, on the non-genre-specific Radio Songs chart.

Cardi B’s “ErrTime” Slips on Two Important U.S. Rankings

While “ErrTime” is quickly becoming another huge radio success for Cardi, the track steps back on two general-consumption rankings. The single slips to No. 19 on the Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs list and declines by just one rung on the Hot 100, where it can currently be found at No. 61.
