Based on fresh data from 8MarketCap, Ethereum's standing among worldwide assets has taken a significant hit. The cryptocurrency has tumbled seven positions to 56th place—marking its first exit from the top 50—now ranked below household names like Coca-Cola. Currently, Ethereum's valuation hovers around $304.06 billion. Moreover, the decline appears steep: an 8.62% drop in just one day and a concerning 14.71% slide over the week. Consequently, analysts believe this sharp downturn has ejected the second-largest digital currency from the elite ranks of global financial assets.
PANews reported on January 31 that, according to the latest data from 8MarketCap, due to the decline in Ethereum's price, its ranking in global asset market capitalization has dropped rapidly by seven places. It has now fallen out of the top 50 global asset market capitalization rankings, ranking 56th, behind companies such as Coca-Cola. Data shows that Ethereum's market capitalization has dropped to approximately $304.06 billion, a 24-hour drop of 8.62% and a 7-day drop of 14.71%.
