PANews reported on February 2nd that, according to The Block, Ripple has obtained a full Electronic Money Institution (EMI) license from the Luxembourg Financial Supervisory Authority (CSSF), which officially came into effect after initial approval on January 14th. This authorization allows Ripple to expand its payments and digital asset services throughout the European Union, providing a regulated gateway to the European market for its blockchain-based payment services.
