Trump's phone has been delayed for eight months and is still not on the market; the price will be increased and it will no longer be "Made in the USA".

PANews reported on February 7th that, according to Jinshi News, Trump Mobile, a subsidiary of US President Trump's vast business empire, announced the "Trump T1" phone back in June of last year. By then, hopes of seeing it on the market had almost been given up. However, a new report indicates that it will eventually be released. According to an interview with US tech media The Verge, company executives stated that there are still some planned changes to the phone, such as removing the T1 logo. The American flag and gold color scheme on the back cover will be retained. The screen and camera specifications will also be upgraded. Company executives stated that to reflect the "quality improvement," the price will increase. Some customers who have already paid a $100 deposit will still have to pay a final payment of $499, while later buyers will bear a higher price, but "it will not exceed $1,000." The company also retracted its previous statement that the phone would be manufactured in the US, now stating that the "final assembly" of the phone will be completed in the US, while most manufacturing processes will take place elsewhere, but no specific locations were disclosed.
