'This number blew my mind': Independents hand Trump 'staggering' 53-point drop in support

President Donald Trump lost a "staggering" measure of support on one of his greatest strengths with voters just a year into his second term, according to a new analysis.

The 79-year-old president boasted in a new interview that he's very proud of the economy right now, but CNN's Harry Enten found Americans don't seem to share his rosy assessment — and blame him for the problems they face.

"Staggering," Enten said. "You know, the economy used to be the wind beneath Donald Trump's presidency wings, and now it's his Titanic, because what are we talking about here? Well, let's just take a look here. Trump's economic net approval one year in term one – hey, yeah, plus side of the ledger, plus-eight points. It was his best issue, arguably, but now it's one of his worst. Look at that. Way, way down in the basement, 18 points below water. What is that? A 26-point switcheroo in the wrong direction.

"This is the type of number that Democratic midterm dreams are made of, and Republican nightmares are also made of."

Voters blame the president and his policies for what they believe to be a drooping economy, he said.

"It is because folks believe, the voters believe it's the Trump administration's fault," Enten said. 'Take a look here, okay, the Trump admin has made the economy worse or better. You go back to January of 2018, term number one, the plurality winner there was better at 40 percent, just 22 percent said worse. Look at this side of the screen, the exact opposite story. What a switcheroo, my goodness gracious – 52 percent, 52 percent of Americans say the Trump admin, their policies have made the economy worse, and look at that. Just 28 percent say better. Even among the GOP, just 57 percent say they make it better. When you're only getting 57 percent of the Republican base to agree with the positive position for Donald Trump, you know, you are in some massive trouble, which the Trump administration and Trump in particular are on the economy."

Trump's approval has fallen even worse among independents, Enten said.

"This was a number that absolutely blew my mind," Enten said. "Oh, my goodness gracious. Trump's economic net approval one year in among independents in term one, he was 10 points above water. Look at where he is today. Whoa, 43 points below. That's a 53-point switcheroo. You can't win elections when, on the number one issue, you are 43 points below water among independents. This is just absolutely atrocious."

Here’s What $100 in Dogecoin (DOGE) Will Be Worth by the End of 2025 Compared to Solana (SOL) and Little Pepe (LILPEPE)

The post Here’s What $100 in Dogecoin (DOGE) Will Be Worth by the End of 2025 Compared to Solana (SOL) and Little Pepe (LILPEPE) appeared on BitcoinEthereumNews.com. SPONSORED POST* If you invested $100 today, projections suggest that by the end of 2025, Dogecoin (DOGE) could grow to $700, Solana (SOL) to $500, but Little Pepe (LILPEPE) is showing an entirely different trajectory, potentially reaching $10,000. Little Pepe (LILPEPE) recently sold out its 12th stage of presale and entered stage 13, now priced at $0.0022.  Investors at this stage are already looking at a guaranteed 30% ROI at launch, but projections based on current momentum and buyer activity suggest potential returns well beyond that, possibly 10x or more if demand continues. The project has raised over $26 million and sold 16 billion tokens faster than expected, highlighting both the speed of adoption and the potential for outsized gains compared to other major coins. Comparing $100 Investments: Dogecoin, Solana, and Little Pepe’s Potential Returns Dogecoin (DOGE) is trading at approximately $0.2845, reflecting a 7.3% increase from the previous close. Despite recent gains, DOGE remains down over 60% from its 2021 high of $0.73. Analysts predict that as DOGE rises by the end of 2025, a $100 investment could grow to $700. Solana (SOL) is currently priced at $250.72, up 7.3% from the previous close. With a total value locked (TVL) of $12 billion and speculation around ETF approval and a potential Nasdaq listing, SOL is projected to turn the same $100 investment into $500 by year-end. In contrast, Little Pepe (LILPEPE), still in its presale phase, has raised over $25.47 million and sold over 15.75 billion tokens, surpassing expectations. Priced at $0.0022 in Stage 13, LILPEPE offers a guaranteed 30% ROI from its listing price of $0.003. Given its rapid growth and strong community engagement, analysts predict a potential 100x return by 2027, making a $100 investment worth $10,000. While DOGE and SOL offer established investment opportunities with moderate…
