PANews reported on February 11th that the Robinhood Chain public testnet is now live, allowing developers to build infrastructure. Robinhood Chain is a financial-grade Ethereum Layer 2 network built on Arbitrum, designed to support real-world assets. The testnet will support early experimentation, identify potential issues, improve network stability, and lay the foundation for developers ahead of the upcoming mainnet launch.
In the coming months, developers building on Robinhood Chain will gain the following permissions:
- Assets for testnet use only, including stock tokens used for integration testing;
- We tested directly using the Robinhood wallet;
- A familiar developer environment based on the Ethereum and Arbitrum ecosystem.
