The Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) and the Land Bank of the Philippines (LANDBANK) have signed a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) to integrate the Link.BizPortal as the department’s official electronic payment facility.
Signed by Labour Secretary Bienvenido E. Laguesma and LANDBANK President Lynette V. Ortiz, the partnership aims to streamline public transactions in line with national directives to expand digital government services.
DOLE’s central and regional offices can now collect fees online through this new integration. The system enables clients in the Philippines and abroad to settle transactions without visiting physical offices.
Users can pay assessed fees through various channels, including LANDBANK accounts, BancNet member banks, and e-wallets such as GCash and Maya.
The transition to digital payments is expected to improve transaction security and accountability while offering greater convenience.
The system provides instant payment confirmation, which serves as official proof of the transaction.
This feature reduces overall processing time by eliminating the requirement for clients to return to DOLE offices specifically to collect official receipts.
DOLE’s adoption of the platform is part of a broader administrative modernisation strategy intended to improve service delivery and efficiency.
Officials intend to replace manual, in-person payment processes with digital solutions. Such a transition will help foster a more client-friendly government experience for the public.
