The acquisition, priced at the current BTC price of $113,638, would place Ming Shing as the largest holder of Bitcoin among Bitcoin treasuries in Hong Kong.  Boyaa Interactive, currently holding 3,350 BTC, would be surpassed as the leading Bitcoin treasury in Hong Kong. The agreement will be financed through the issuance of convertible notes and warrants instead of cash. Ming Shing, a construction company, will issue 3% of 10-year convertible notes and 12-year warrants that cover a total of 402,467,916 shares. Winning Mission and Rich Plenty Investment Limited, two British Virgin Islands-based firms, are involved in the transaction. Winning Mission, the seller of the 4,250 BTC, will receive $241.48 million in convertible notes and warrants for 201,233,958 shares. Rich Plenty Investment will act as the broker for the transaction between the two entities. The convertibles and warrants include a 4.99% cap on beneficial ownership.  Wenjin Li, CEO of Ming Shing, noted the volatile nature of the Bitcoin market and acknowledged that the investment could potentially appreciate and increase the company’s assets.  According to the details of the transaction, the company’s share base is expected to increase from the current less than 13 million outstanding shares. If all goes well and the convertibles are exercised, the shares would rise to 415 million, reducing the current shareholder ownership to about 3.1%. If all shares, convertibles, warrants, and accrued interest are exercised, the company’s share base could reach 939 million, leaving the existing shareholders with just 1.4% ownership. CME Group to launch options on XRP and SOL futures

The new markets will open on October 13, after regulatory approval.  CME Group will expand its crypto products with options on the futures markets of Solana (SOL) and XRP. The futures market will start on October 13, after regulatory review and approval.  The options will allow the trading of MicroSol, XRP, and MicroXRP futures, with expiry dates available every business day, monthly, and quarterly. The new products will be added to the existing BTC and ETH options markets. ‘The launch of these options contracts builds on the significant growth and increasing liquidity we have seen across our suite of Solana and XRP futures,’ said Giovanni Vicioso, CME Group Global Head of Cryptocurrency Products. The options contracts will have two main sizes, tracking the futures contracts. The new market will be suitable for sophisticated institutional traders, as well as active individual traders. The addition of options markets singles out XRP and SOL as liquid enough to offer the potential to bet on a market direction.  The options on futures arrive a few months after the launch of SOL futures. Both SOL and XRP had peak volumes in August, though XRP activity has slowed down in September.
