KuCoin, the global crypto platform, has taken a big step toward what it calls a “content-to-trade” social trading ecosystem with the simultaneous rollout of KuCoin Live and an upgraded KuCoin Feed 2.0. The company says the changes move market conversation and execution closer together, letting users watch, learn, and act without leaving the KuCoin App.
At the center of the update is a simple idea. Content should lead to action. Feed 2.0 pushes the platform beyond passive scrolling by turning posts into tradeable ideas. New embedded formats such as Trade Cards let users share structured, real trading results, asset, direction, leverage and real-time P&L, while tighter integrations with trending topics and token pages aim to make it easy to follow a thesis and then evaluate or execute it inside the app. KuCoin says the redesigned Feed emphasizes interaction, polls, creator-driven discussions and one-click social bindings, so community signals become part of an actionable loop rather than noise on a separate site.
Complementing the Feed is KuCoin Live, a streaming environment where creators and community leaders can host real-time sessions for market and technical analysis. Built to look and feel like other streaming platforms but wired directly into KuCoin’s market data and execution tools, Live aims to reduce the friction traders face when trying to turn what they hear into what they do. KuCoin’s release notes point users to update to the latest KuCoin App version to access Live, and the company is rolling out incentives and creator programs designed to attract analysts, educators and experienced traders to the space.
The product debut was accompanied by a promotional launch week. KuCoin’s announcements show Live went live earlier in February and that the company put more than 2.7 million USDT in rewards behind early engagement and streamer incentives during the rollout. Those programs include watch-and-interact rewards for viewers and performance- and participation-based awards for creators. The rewards push underlines how KuCoin expects creators to help seed high-quality, trade-focused content on the platform.
KuCoin frames the move as part product innovation and part platform rethinking: instead of treating community and execution as separate pieces, the company wants an integrated environment where on-chain signals, news, commentary and live analysis feed directly into execution tools. To support scale and quality control, the rollout also includes backend controls, AI-assisted monitoring and risk-management features, intended to reduce abuse and keep discussions professional as the user-generated content ecosystem grows.
The announcement comes from KuCoin, a firm founded in 2017 that says it serves over 40 million users and offers access to more than 1,000 tokens, spot and futures trading, institutional services and a Web3 wallet. The company highlighted recent recognitions and security certifications, including mentions by Forbes and Hurun and compliance credentials such as SOC 2 Type II and ISO 27001:2022, while pointing to regulated registrations like AUSTRAC in Australia and a MiCA license in Austria as part of its broader push to expand a regulated footprint under CEO BC Wong.
For traders, creators and anyone watching the shift in how crypto platforms serve communities, KuCoin’s update is a notable example of exchanges experimenting with social features that directly tie into trading. Whether the combined Feed-plus-Live model results in higher-quality analysis and better outcomes for users will depend on how well the platform enforces transparency, manages incentives and curbs risky behavior, and how quickly creators and viewers adapt to a place where content is explicitly designed to move into execution. KuCoin Live and KuCoin Feed 2.0 are available now through the KuCoin App.
