Byreal is gearing up to reshape DeFi trading with a bold 2026 roadmap featuring real-world asset perpetuals, AI-powered liquidity tools, and a new AMM model.
At the Solana Accelerate APAC event in Dubai, held alongside Consensus 2026, Byreal co-founder Emily Bao introduced the decentralized exchange’s upcoming roadmap for 2026. With Solana gaining traction as a hub for institutional crypto activity, Byreal is seizing the moment to push boundaries in DeFi infrastructure.
The roadmap features three major pillars: AI-driven liquidity tools, a new Prop AMM model, and round-the-clock perpetuals for real-world assets.
Byreal plans to roll out an automated, AI-assisted infrastructure for liquidity providers in 2026. This includes:
These features are designed to lower the barrier for participating in DeFi markets by making liquidity provision less technical and more efficient.
The roadmap also introduces a Prop AMM (proprietary automated market maker) that will start with protocol-managed liquidity. Dynamic fee adjustments will be based on the quality of order flow, a move aimed at:
Byreal intends to gradually open this model to wider participation, providing a balance between control and community engagement.
Perhaps the most ambitious part of the announcement is Byreal’s plan to launch perpetual futures trading for real-world assets (RWA). The trading will be available 24/7, aligning with the always-on nature of DeFi.
To make this work, Byreal will incorporate prediction market data as an on-chain signal layer, potentially creating a more informed and efficient market.
The platform’s unified execution layer aims to provide seamless access to both RWA and crypto assets, further blurring the lines between traditional and decentralized finance.
Launched in mid-2025 and incubated by Bybit, Byreal has quickly positioned itself as a major DEX on the Solana network. According to Bao, the protocol is “building foundational infrastructure for internet capital markets,” offering strong price discovery and robust liquidity.
The announcement took place in front of an audience of over 2,000 builders, executives, and policymakers, underscoring the event’s significance within the Solana ecosystem.
I find this roadmap pretty exciting. In my experience, most DEXs struggle to bridge the gap between real-world asset access and on-chain efficiency, but Byreal seems to be tackling that head-on. The 24/7 RWA perpetuals could be a game changer, especially for traders looking to diversify outside pure crypto. The AI liquidity tools also feel like a smart move toward making DeFi easier for newcomers and smaller players. If they pull this off, Byreal might set a new benchmark for DEX infrastructure on Solana.
