The HIPAA compliant email leader earns back-to-back recognition on the Best Healthcare Software Products list, with less than 1% of vendors making the cut

SAN FRANCISCO–(BUSINESS WIRE)–#emailencryption–Paubox, the leading provider of HIPAA compliant email security, has been named the best email encryption software by G2 in its 2026 Best Healthcare Software Products Awards. It’s the second consecutive year Paubox has earned a spot on the awards, which rank the world’s top software based entirely on verified user reviews.

G2 is the world’s largest and most trusted software marketplace, reaching more than 100 million buyers annually. Less than 1% of the over 175,000 vendors listed on G2 earned a placement across this year’s 46 award lists. Unlike industry awards based on analyst opinion or paid submissions, G2’s rankings are determined by authentic, timely reviews from the people who actually use the software every day.

“G2’s Best Software Awards are a compass in today’s fragmented market,” said Alex London, CMO at G2. “Each list is grounded in verified reviews from real users on G2, helping software buyers quickly find the best solutions that consistently deliver.”

Why It Matters

Email encryption has long been a pain point in healthcare. Many solutions force recipients to log into clunky portals, take extra steps to encrypt, or download special software just to read a message. The friction leads to workarounds, compliance gaps, and frustrated patients and providers.

Paubox takes the opposite approach. Every outbound email is encrypted by default. The encrypted email arrives in the recipient’s inbox like any other email. That simplicity, paired with industry-leading HITRUST certification, is what earned Paubox a 4.9-star rating from hundreds of verified G2 reviewers.

By the Numbers

Paubox’s G2 performance tells a story of sustained dominance in healthcare email security. Across G2’s most recent seasonal reports, Paubox has earned the #1 ranking in more than 30 categories, collected over 75 badges, and was featured in 54 separate reports. The company also leads G2’s rankings for Best Secure Email Gateway, Email Security, and HIPAA Compliant Messaging Software – making Paubox the highest-rated solution in every email security category it competes in.

More than 8,000 healthcare organizations and growing trust Paubox for their email security, including Cost Plus Drugs, Rippling, and Covenant Health.

What the CEO Says

“We use customer feedback as our roadmap of what to build and when to build it, and that’s reflected in our G2 reviews,” said Hoala Greevy, CEO and Founder of Paubox. “Customers want security, reliability, and ease of use. These are big ideas we invest in, and they will not change over time. Being named the best email encryption software by G2 tells us we’re building the right things.”

What Customers Are Saying

The G2 reviews paint a consistent picture: healthcare teams want email encryption that works invisibly.

“Paubox helps keep our communications safe and HIPAA compliant. As a medical facility, patient privacy is our top priority. Paubox makes sending encrypted messages to our patients and partners easy, without a second thought.” — Roxanne D., G2 reviewer

“My favorite part about Paubox is how seamless it integrates with email. I don’t have to think about marking an email as encrypted, and clients don’t need to take extra steps to view emails and/or attachments.” — Jessica B., G2 reviewer

“The ease of use almost makes you wonder if something is really going on behind the scene. And then the weekly reports show you what could have happened without Paubox magic.” — Gary P., G2 reviewer

Fed Makes First Rate Cut of the Year, Lowers Rates by 25 Bps

The post Fed Makes First Rate Cut of the Year, Lowers Rates by 25 Bps appeared on BitcoinEthereumNews.com. The Federal Reserve has made its first Fed rate cut this year following today’s FOMC meeting, lowering interest rates by 25 basis points (bps). This comes in line with expectations, while the crypto market awaits Fed Chair Jerome Powell’s speech for guidance on the committee’s stance moving forward. FOMC Makes First Fed Rate Cut This Year With 25 Bps Cut In a press release, the committee announced that it has decided to lower the target range for the federal funds rate by 25 bps from between 4.25% and 4.5% to 4% and 4.25%. This comes in line with expectations as market participants were pricing in a 25 bps cut, as against a 50 bps cut. This marks the first Fed rate cut this year, with the last cut before this coming last year in December. Notably, the Fed also made the first cut last year in September, although it was a 50 bps cut back then. All Fed officials voted in favor of a 25 bps cut except Stephen Miran, who dissented in favor of a 50 bps cut. This rate cut decision comes amid concerns that the labor market may be softening, with recent U.S. jobs data pointing to a weak labor market. The committee noted in the release that job gains have slowed, and that the unemployment rate has edged up but remains low. They added that inflation has moved up and remains somewhat elevated. Fed Chair Jerome Powell had also already signaled at the Jackson Hole Conference that they were likely to lower interest rates with the downside risk in the labor market rising. The committee reiterated this in the release that downside risks to employment have risen. Before the Fed rate cut decision, experts weighed in on whether the FOMC should make a 25 bps cut or…
